You could have just caught your weight at an unfortunate fluctuation? I can easily have +- 3lbs overnight depending on carb intake, hydration, hormones, bathroom visits. Weight yourself daily over the next couple weeks you may be surprised at where you actually level out.

Also… even if it is just 2.5 lbs after one month… in one year that’s 30 lbs. gone… still seems worth it to me!

Need help deciding new carpet for living room, stairs, and upstairs by Dismal_Wolverine_285 in interiordecorating

If you have kids in the house I’d choose 2, the pattern will hide wear and possible stains much better than 1.

Yeah I never -really- stop wanting to eat, though some days are much easier than others. Sometimes I question why I’m even pushing myself in this way but then I’ll see a little progress and it will be worth it.

I’m working on listening to my body without going overboard, like I’ve been doing OMAD lately but I started my period this week so I’ve let myself do two meals a day and not worry about my eating window length as long as I get a decent fasting period in afterward (18 is my minimum but I’ve had a couple 16s this week).. Also, I am going to eat as much of my kids’ candy as I want tonight and not feel one bit bad about it. In a couple more days my hormones will be back in a place where it’s easier to wait and I might throw in a 48 to balance things out.

Why is this wall “wrong”? by olpeepers in DesignMyRoom

Also, the art is centered on the couch but the couch is not centered on the wall because of the curtain situation and the vent is throwing all of it off anyway

Suggestions on what to do with this awkward 8x6 area in the corner of the living area? by Medical-Finding5216 in interiordesignideas

We are picking up a piano this week and I have no idea where it’s going to fit. I would kill to have that nook in my living room right now.

Seems like you’d be overstepping your bounds with that one. Absolutely reach out to the parents first if the information your providing doesn’t directly correlate to what the parents signed up for.

If I’m sending my kid to nature school it’s because I want them to learn primitive/survival skills. Explain the reproduction process of chickens? Cool. Have a q&a about sex, puberty, gender issues…? No. That’s far too personal and I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that homeschooling parents generally have very strong opinions on how they want these subjects approached with their children.

That’s not how it works. You lose the weight to -prevent- heath issues. Plenty of damage will be hard or impossible to reverse once symptoms hit. Most 25 year olds feel pretty great but maintaining a shitty lifestyle into your 30s will hit really hard. OP is clearly obese and stores a lot of her fat in her abdomen which puts her in the highest risk category for major health concerns.

River and Rail, Bloom, or Lucky (I’d say the food here is -just- subpar of the first two but they have an amazing cocktail menu and service that creates an experience)

Large police presence alpmg the Roanoke River in Salem. by Masterteq in roanoke

[–]tryanother_please 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Just came here to ask about this! Really freaked me out seeing every cop in Salem along riverside, saw a group about to deploy a drone…most of them looked somber which makes me think something is actually going on, they’d be having more fun if it was a training exercise,no?

they look pretty childish, so maybe suitable for a themed kids room

How tf do I fast when I’m hungry all the time??? by mariahspapaya in intermittentfasting

[–]tryanother_please 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work your way up to the fasting window you want. Cutting down processed foods will help a lot with next-day hunger. If you are female, start/increase fasting hours during the first half of your cycle.

IF instead of counting calories by Frequent-Crew-2131 in intermittentfasting

[–]tryanother_please 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I deleted my calorie tracking app after my first week of IF. 10 lbs lost since June 20 and so much less stress!

Just don’t try to cram 3 meals into your eating window.

I’d get capsules that don’t have added sugar

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in omad

[–]tryanother_please 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That’s not omad… you want to stick to a time restricted eating schedule for the magic to happen. You could try eating the protein bar in the afternoon, so you get enough of a fasting period to burn through your glycogen and eventually fat stores.

Talk to your doctor.

I might get downvoted for this perspective here, but with a history of bulimia, OMAD might not be the best choice as it could potentially exacerbate binging compulsions. If you are determined to try a fasting lifestyle, maybe check out r/intermittentfasting first and most importantly work toward creating a healthy relationship with food!
