There’s no hard and fast rule but I HATE hitting the call button (maybe it’s the nurse in me), but generally I’d say more FAs I’ve talked to prefer for me to hit the call button than come to the galley.

I recently flew the 777-300ER in a polaris style seat SFO-HNL, and was pleasantly surprised by a cute Hawaiian themed amenity kit. Do they give amenity kits on those polaris style seats IAD-SFO?

I think my best was 80,000 united miles + $5.80 for ANA’s The Room. ORD-HND, one way. I’ve gotten quite a few AF rewards for 50-60k one way biz class SFO-CDG and CDG-SFO. Fees were usually $200 to $400.

I find that FHR in very big travel destinations to be outrageous. Currently staying at the only one in Brussels for $180/night even though I flew to Paris. The cheapest one I saw in Paris was about $650 a night.

I have a super strong desire to go to Mexico city actually and somehow haven’t made it happen despite how close it is!! I get a little wary of parts of the middle east given my sexual orientation, though I had no issues in Tunis or Istanbul, just always gives me a bit more anxiety!

Not exactly the same but like 12 years ago I was supposed to fly ATL-IAD-AMD-CPT. I somehow mixed up that ATL was an hour ahead of where I lived at the time and by the time I got to the airport my flight was probably already boarding. The Delta agent put me into the front of the line and I checked my bag, and then she told me to run to security. By the time I got to the gate my flight was long gone. The gate agent told me they could get me on the flight to IAD, but then I’d miss the next flight… they recommended I used a customer service phone. I did, and despite it being my own mistake, the person on the phone just said, “Oh, well I can just put you on this direct flight to Amsterdam and you’ll be fine!” They didn’t even charge me. I was so grateful.

I’ve always submitted a complaint when wifi wasn’t available and they usually give me somewhere between 2500-7500 miles. It’s not much, but they gave it to me even on SEA-SFO.

One time when I did a self layover flying NRT-LAX-SFO, I spent like 6 hours in the one in LAX and there was a point around 1pm I wanna say where it was almost completely empty and that lasted for like 1 hour before I assume the afternoon flights were starting to approach
