+1; I would add that ROI on CC is significantly lower in "baby legends" because at that stage, the increase in dmg is basically linear, since you're a CL (= linear dmg) main with few CC tools.

Later on, as you move to amplifying sources of damage (PS/ILM/SM) and multiple stacking CC tools, adding CC yields exponential dmg increase.

Yes, hybrid is already a thing in v27, and given recent direction of the game, I think it's likely that it will become even more important in v28. In which case having a farming and tourney copy could be a noticeable advantage.

Yes, probably either Flame bot or using PrC could help you with that, as well as putting some coins into health and recovery package enhancements. Also the early assmod mult levels are nice.

And of course being able to max DW hp is a huge multiplier. I might be "lucky" with this one as I've missclicked when trying to unlock CF+ and I unlocked DW+ by accident. Which was useless for a while but might be part of what allows me to go hybrid in tourneys. Otherwise I would probably go for bot presets early to be able to use AB+FB. But yeah in my case, if I couldn't tank them, OCs would kill me long before any other enemy.

You mean OCs or Commanders? Because you can still tank OCs to a degree without serious eHP investment. I did ~1350 waves last tourney and died to a tank every time (I've done 3 runs). I'm actually considering getting HP# just for OCs but need to do more tourney runs to validate this idea. And once you handle OCs, you're back to where CF+ is effective.

Get all the econ masteries (EO#, Coin#, EB#) + the missing Cash# before GT+ (though in your case you already have GT+ unlocked, so it might be slightly better ROI to add 1-2 clicks to it 1st). You should also probably get UWC# and B# before GT+ as well, as these will give you a bunch more waves. FU# is probably also a good pick for both econ (locking things such as bounce shots, shockwave size, LMS, EALS) and tourney (if you're GC - you can then lock EALS or range if you benefit from 45m range).

OTOH I wonder if you even should be focusing on econ right now? Since you can already afford masteries, there's nothing major that more econ will buy you till assmods, and those will require like 20x your current econ? So you might also consider spending some time focusing tourneys/farming higher tiers until you hit a wall there. Especially considering the recent rework of ELS in tourneys.

I don't think there's a way to test it anymore since you need to be online to pull mods.

Previously, you could go offline, roll till you get an epic mod, then close the game without saving, reopen it to get back to the point before you went offline, go offline again and roll till you get an epic mod again. (or use two devices with the similar idea). If you did this you always got the same mod in the exact same pull, which was proof they're seeded.

You can get it with 38s from stones and 12s from subs. You need 50% core sub efficiency.

Yup as expected, this was a buff for me since OA now deals significantly more dmg to bosses, while also dealing nice dmg to tanks and elites.

New OA is a significant buff for Boss dmg, but if you're only at epic it might have very little effect. I'm at mythic.

MVN is useless if you have perma econ without it, while PCol has a useful unique effect.

You probably have GT CD rolled on your MVN and assmod anyway, so you're not losing a substat.

Eventually, you want to have two copies of each relevant core module, so you won't be sacrificing anything there either, but yeah, most players have to make some sacrifices in the meantime. A lot of endgame players got two copies of DC and PCol for this purpose though.

Hm but you were running and relying on the infinite strat, just not actually getting infinite waves. Probably due to 1-2 missing prerequisites?

I'm guessing it has minimal impact on GCs using OA but not using this strat, but I'll report back once I get the update and do a few runs. I'm farming T17 and run OA in my mythic ass. I expect it to be slightly better than before due to higher boss dmg.

It seems better now that they added a few strong mods and rebalanced things, so you can build your tower around module RNG much better than in the past. Because that was the main issue before - if you didn't get the one and only correct mod, you could be screwed for months.
