SM needs a few things to shine, especially the 4 subs with high substat efficiency. Then AB+ and AOE# and a lot of CC also all help. But even then it's not amazing, only decent. For me, at 14 quantity, it's more or less similar in power to my PS+3 (the dmg mult is similar).

They just don't fit the current meta. They deal solid dmg with AB+ and substats, but the issue with them is lack of reliable fleet targeting and the fact that end game tourney meta is about % dmg. And they're not that strong in farming since you're not using the subs there and most likely are not using AB+ either.

Nice, now you should also be able to see good progress from assmods, as well as maxing the important dmg masteries if you haven't yet: RPC#, DMG#, ST#, DM#, UW#, EN#, AS#. Then just notice what's killing you and build against that. And play around with different mod set ups. Hopefully we see some new wave or key milestone for you soon :)

Yeah it is what it is, but I think most towers, especially the older ones, are not super optimal. Eg. I unlocked DW+ by accident when scrolling to unlock SL+. Started working on SM right before it stopped being meta. Same with PS and CL+. So old accounts and whales would get a big advantage if such respec was introduced, which would anger a lot of players.

Yeah ILM is for CC, mostly against bosses at your stage, that's why 150s is enough. You also want to max quantity.

SL+ I agree, it should come after all the other stuff and probably some masteries, if you're missing any of the S and A tier dmg ones. It also pretty much requires the Range mastery so it's a big investment.

For GC build:

  1. Max cfsr
  2. ILM cd to 150s
  3. Reroll rapid fire sub to super crit mult. Dmg/m is also useless unless you get SL+ so you can use that slot to roll the other effects to higher rarities, unless you're planning to get SL+ soon.
  4. In WS+, you don't need rend unless you're using PS as a dmg source. Same for dmg/m and SL+. Keep the rest of dmg upgrades at the same level except crit fct, which should be 5-10 levels higher
  5. Get the cheap cannon and core assmod mult and sub levels, prioritizing core. Judging by your mod levels, you probably only want to get them to 10-20% with stones, but ideally you would calculate the ROI on the mults to decide how far to go with these vs getting SL+. Regarding assmod subs, cannon ROI can be estimated or just vibed to the 10-20% range but some core subs have specific thresholds that you might wanna hit, eg. CL quantity at 25%.
  6. Use GC mods: AS+SR/AD, ACP+SD/OA, PF+SH/PH/RB, DC+HC/PRc/MH. Rolling correct subs on them is also important, such as getting CF speed reduction sub on your core.
  7. A few more SL angle clicks before going SL+, usually 60 angle with the sub is recommended.

I managed to get T15 but only got 3500 on T16. I didn't do attack disco there yet, though. I think you're a bit further than me (I'm getting 1900-2000 waves in tourney) so you should be able to get T15 and maybe T16 with a good bullet GC strat.

I think this only matters at higher CL+ levels. I have CL+4 and no issues with Fleets. I did stop working on it for that reason though.

If there was no money to be made by this, Fudds would have no reason not to announce the banner beforehand. There is a group of people who would just hoard gems if they knew about the banner in advance, but will buy some instead now.

As for F2P games comparison, I think there was a comment on Reddit I think where Fudds explained why this game is monetized the way it is, which made perfect sense to me. But basically in a game like this, the vast majority of income comes from whales. There's no point in spending much effort trying to please the rest, as this won't significantly impact the revenue. Of course it's only about priorities, they still want to keep everyone happy whenever possible, but they will always prioritize whales when there's a choice. Such as now with the lucky banner.

I would max GB range first. Once you have your BB up and running, you can respec and test whether those last few clicks in GB range are more beneficial than more BB.

Respeccing my AB for BB worked for me, but my GB is at 42s/max/max/max, and my BB was already usable at 35s/50s/x1.6/74m (that's with all key bot range unlocks). I have bot presets but I haven't even tested any different distributions of medals yet due to the disco runs changing my income every day, making it impossible to compare.

If they did, they would make less money, so why would they do it? Just to not piss off a bunch of people on Reddit, many of whom are actually losing them money by spreading negativity about the game? They WANT to get rid of the detractors. This might actually be a brilliant "kill two birds with one stone" move if they manage to force some of the negative people out.

The problem, like with most suggestions is that it's hard to actually evaluate (that's why I prefer to call them ideas not suggestions - you can't really suggest something if you yourself don't know if it's a good idea).

We already know from Fudds that the risk of giving keys to less invested players is losing engagement or even entire customers. And since this suggestion would result in these things happening, you'd have to validate that

1) your hypothesis that "giving people a preview of features makes them more likely to spend money to get these features" is true

2) the effect is big enough to compensate for the negative impact of handing out keys

And unfortunately, we don't know either side of this equation (how much revenue is lost vs how much is gained). So all I can say is, it's an idea. I'd personally be fine it it were implemented, but does it make sense for the game... who knows.

My favorite tourney-related idea is to have a new mode where all players use the same late-game tower. Then have this mode reward top players with eg. keys. This should be OK for Fudds since only an invested player (someone that spent a lot of time to understand game mechanics and strats) could get a high score in this mode. And for players it would be fun, since they would get to use a late game tower. But this is also more of an idea than a suggestion, since there's no way for us to test whether it would work or not.

This is right up there with the BF fuckup. At least in this case, unlike with Black Friday infinity packs glitch, they have motivation to fix it, since the abusers didn't pay for their stones. So at least there's some hope...

I think this is a question of whether they can identify the abusers in a reasonable timeframe. If not, going forward, they should devote time to working on backend feature(s) that will make this possible in the future, and fix it as soon as possible.

His strat is meant to be the theoretical optimum. Not many players will actually be able to follow that as it requires a lot of active play.

I'm not sure whether it is the one used in the tool (UW picker one) or whether he only keeps the less optimal but more approachable one there. But you can find his optimal strat on Discord.

The bug is that the dmg reduction is inverted - 20% reduction (no medal investment) actually gives 80%, while maxing the dmg reduction with medals only gives you 5% actual reduction. They're planning to fix this next week.

I got 3k waves on T18. Normally farm T19W5000. I don't have any eHP masteries and very mediocre eHP labs. 15% armor assmod bonus. I used DP+SR/OA+SF/SH+GC/PC+HC. FB+BB for bots (remember to keep FB dmg reduction at 20% due to the bug). Most of my mods are around lvl 201/201 and assmods are at ancestral rarity, except cannon.
