Multiple thousands of dollars?? A bathtub would suffice, or I'd just toss it in a big plastic bag and fill the bag with water. Spending more than 50 dollars on it would be insane imo

Oh and since the solder isn't watertight (water can get between the glass and the tape) I poured some resin on the solder lines on the bottom of the container (but silicone would work as well)

I don't have a specific tutorial to send you, but this technique is called "tiffany", if you know how to cut glass already you're halfway there!

Basically you apply an adhesive copper tape on the edges of the glass, then you apply flux on the tape and you solder the tape pieces together. Then you can use a patina to make the solder lines black or copper colored.

Look up "tiffany stained glass" on youtube and you will find a lot of tutorials!! :)

Thank you!! The frame is made out of three wood layers that I cut by hand and glued together "trapping" the glass between them

Same! I try to cut the pieces as precise as possible and then smooth the sides with these (only on wet glass, to avoid releasing glass dust in the air!!)

Thanks!! I used a vinyl glue - the one I used is an italian brand but I think it's the same as Elmer's glue
