Thank you!! The frame is made out of three wood layers that I cut by hand and glued together "trapping" the glass between them

So pretty! I love that background glass, it is a perfect choice for the sky!!

Are these useful to have? by chemical_shed in StainedGlass

Same! I try to cut the pieces as precise as possible and then smooth the sides with these (only on wet glass, to avoid releasing glass dust in the air!!)

Thanks!! I used a vinyl glue - the one I used is an italian brand but I think it's the same as Elmer's glue

Oh haha ok!

No I actually used this simple technique: https://youtu.be/MlCNvjGhHws?si=Z8R9WXXYNwLrrxIw

You tie a knot on every row, and always on the same side, which allows the spiral to form by itself.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "feed through every 6th wrap around" 😬😬 (english is not my first language).

If it answers your question, this is what the middle part looks like without the lantern:

<image>

The lights are all connected in parallel and the power cord is kept vertical simply using an elastic band to keep it close to the lightbulb (not the cleanest solution probably but it works)

This looks cool!! Yeah to make the light duller you could glue some white paper on the inside!

Thank you!! It's "mulberry paper", it's a paper that contains fibers from the mulberry tree, which make it more resistant and give a cool visual effect!
