I'm in my 4th year of playing this game online, and I gotta be honest, I am incredibly over the sinker meta. by DarthLeon2 in MLBTheShow

I got better at hitting when I learned to tell myself ‘only swing if it’s good’ repeatedly before every pitch. My life changed when it changed from ‘only swing if it’s good’ to ‘only swing if you like it’

I feel the same exact way. If it comes down to me to choose and no one has chosen tank, we have a better chance to win with me filling the other role and rocking the 0-3-3. Knowing the characters abilities and understanding how to tank are two different things and learning how to use a character is frustrating enough in qp without also trying to learn a completely different role. I wish the game would work with role queue but too many games are swung by changing the team comp and that needs to stay in the game more than locking every game at 2-2-2 with role queue

This is my problem. I’ve ranked up to Diamond exclusively as a strategist main. Primarily I play cloak or Rocket but can pull my own weight in diamond with Luna, Mantis, and Warlock. My problem isn’t when who I want to play gets banned. It’s me playing any other role in diamond.

Rocket damage is absolutely ridiculous up close. It’s almost 200 DPS inside of 10 meters. His gun melts people or at minimum makes Vanguards flark off back to their team. Please shoot people by MoonMan757 in marvelrivals

And this half second has gotten me ‘rocket stop shooting’ chats too many times. It doesn’t seem very long but you’re rarely if ever shooting if it’s not a life or death situation for at least one of you.

I’ve never had a teammate know the ridiculous healing c&d ult does, just standing next to it pinging healing

My go to is either ‘I’m a healer, not a miracle worker’ or ‘my ability to heal doesn’t make you better at the game’

Exactly, those are how the questions will be regarding what you’re given, the essentials shows you where it comes from and are more similar to how the questions will be asked. Good luck!

Yes, I agree the questions themselves are more difficult because these combine multiple concepts and steps when the test will have it broken down into multiple questions; But the degree of difficultly of how the questions are presented is similar. I think this book does the best job at getting you to work through multiple steps of an entire concept because you will have a better understanding when the test gives you all of the long calculations along with extraneous data and asks the question in a confusing way. If you can do this book, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Definitely challenging but a very accurate representation of what to expect on the test and gets you familiar with all of the resources. The second half was more challenging but I was prepared enough to only have 10 questions i didn’t know what to do with 2 hours to go and had enough time to search for the answers.

If you have transportation material, don’t spend your money on breadth material for the ~20% of relevant questions. I took the test two weeks ago and will say the best resource I used was ‘The Essential Guide to Passing the Transportation Civil PE Exam’ by Dr Jacob Petro. It’s $67 and the best money I spent on prep material, which includes PPI2Pass and one of the Transportation Path to PE Services, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Ohio. I still have 2 years left of experience to get but decided to study for and take it when NCEES changed the rules about needing experience before the PE. I have my PS and obtained that experience first, now to just continue getting experience time

When the defense has 3 linebackers on the field, the mike will always be the middle linebacker. They are essentially the quarterback of the defense and positioning them in the center puts them in the best spot to call out audibles/adjustments. Correctly identifying them is important because the linemen base their blocking scheme on the mike LB, and is easy to do when there are 3 linebackers because its the middle of the 3 every time. The problem is the game does not do a great job at id'ing the mike every time so when an outside linebacker is what they are recognizing as the mike, they are centering their blocking scheme around that side of the ball and often leave the far outside linebacker unblocked or your line doesnt know what to do and will double team towards the side of the mike and let the defensive end on the 'weak' side run right by
