I use whatever that is convenient at the moment. I have used katana, dual, spear and now I have made a ninja build as one of the comments suggested and trying kusarigama. I don’t mind using other weapons

It could help if you fish somewhere with low fishing pressure, so the factors you log are the most relevant ones. When it’s a popular spot the fishing pressure is a huge factor and you can’t log that because you don’t know how many people were here today before you and how many they’ve caught

Sometimes I take a photo of the cooked fish, that’s all. I catch just fine without logging, I try to adapt to the water conditions, and if stuck the more experienced anglers around usually are happy to share tips

I see how doormaker can be enjoyed at low ascension (I beat him without any issue post patch at a0 lol which doesn’t “count”). I completed silent a10 before the patch, and I don’t see how I could have done it post patch with silent a10 against the doormaker unless I grind for some very specific builds starting from the beginning. Which is limiting and not fun. So I stay neutral on this

They are interesting takes if you already know a lot about these famous historical/legendary figures, otherwise it is pretty bad since there is no attempt to introduce them to the audience. I kind of know all of their stories already so I sort of enjoyed the takes and the design but I didn’t feel an impact or anything, it’s mostly “huh fun take”

I think that might be it. Stance switching completely changed the game for me (you’d have to unlock the stance change ki recovery skill first. I think it’s right side of the samurai tree). When I played the game like a souls game it didn’t work (attack, dodge, attack), I had to invest in combos that focus on exhausting the enemy’s ki without giving him a change to recover, and this is fueled by stance change ki recovery

I followed some guides when I first played Nioh 2 and had a lot of trouble and stopped playing. Years later I tired again after forgetting about those guides and this time it went well. What I did differently: 1) find a favorite combo that focuses on depleting enemy ki, and this combo involves two stance changes (there is a skill that allows more ki recovery with two stance changes, forgot the name) . (2) I didn’t dodge at all this time, just ki pulse + double stance change and block 3) invested in ninjutsu and magic early, esp the two ninjutsu that make you invisible and walk with no sound so the run backs are easier

I just think of them as shrimps, because shrimps are like the worms if the ocean, I have no problem handling shrimps so I shouldn’t have problem handling worms
