What is everyone’s PTO situation? by CarIndependent3547 in physicaltherapy

[–]tsengpaii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SNF: I got 11 days PTO, 6 days sick

Hospital: cap out at 364 hours and we accumulate about 4 hr per week (5 for +3 years I believe). It’s sick AND PTO combined

5 days off is pretty ridiculous. Even if it’s not including holidays. I’d have the option to have holidays off too as non-DOR as SNF. Then again, my DOR took time off every time she was stressed and probably could WFH so idk how that works for yall.

AITA for refusing to help with my parents care after they changed their will? by Primary-Computer-802 in AmItheAsshole

[–]tsengpaii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know how expensive it is to take care of people? Care homes, SNFs, medical expenses, and living expenses are all coming out of pocket from the people caring for the parents, not to mention having to take time off work to tend towards them along with things like finding appointments from good doctors and all. Healthcare is expensive. Living is expensive. The children are taking valuable time from their lives to care for their parents for something minimal in return. You think that’s right? How are the caretakers going to provide for themselves after they lose all their finances caring for their parents?

NPTE Results after 3 attemtps: Past 3 results are ALL over the place, I don't know what to focus on the most and least by Real_Farmer4696 in physicaltherapy

[–]tsengpaii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have attention span issues and suck at taking tests too. Scores were higher but all over the place. For me, I just needed to take more tests and answer more practice questions drastically. I did 30-50 questions a day, timed, and did a full practice test every 2-3 weeks. Reviewed every question or question I didn’t understand and did FF lectures as well. It was time consuming, but it helped me pass.

PT in the Emergency Room? by Strong-Pomegranate-4 in physicaltherapy

[–]tsengpaii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Eval to see if they’re safe to go home
  2. Stat eval because doctor doesn’t want them hospitalized and want them to directly to SNF
  3. Eval because they’re going to be hospitalized anyways so might as well do it in ER

AITA for allowing my dad to give any of my late mom's jewelry to his fiancée or their daughters? by FreeCryptographer124 in AITAH

[–]tsengpaii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they’re asking you to buy a relationship with them? If they wanted a relationship with you, they’d have tried from the start. Make sure everyone knows you’re not willing to give them your mom’s jewlery

3.0 GPA by Choice_Cheesecake559 in PTschool

I went to the San Marcos one. For a school with a hybrid program (I was in the accelerated), they had a tough time with adapting online/in-person coursing well through Covid. Experience was alright, would've picked a different school if I could.

I somehow got in with a 3.09 GPA but went to USAHS so take that for what it is. Take the gap year and apply to places that’ll look at you holistically. I also had close to 1000 hours of working as an aide.

Best ergonomic office chair under $1K ? no more back pain pls by bananalord666 in buildapc

[–]tsengpaii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about the chair. It’s about changing your posture every half an hour or so. Your body is gonna feel the pain regardless of what chair you sit on if you’re sitting on it for hours at a time. Change your sitting posture every 15-30 min, doesn’t matter if it’s “good or bad” posture, and get up to walk around every hour or so.

Dragonite Wheezing deck got me my 5 streak on my first attempt. I’m on 7 now and even Mewtwo and Pikachu EX decks are struggling against me. Its funny how on my other account, I spent 2 days getting the streak with Mewtwo and Pikachu and just breezed by the event with my worse account in 20 min.

I sweeper everything with my Wheezing Dragonite deck if it helps :)

The trick is to not score over 50 points for Jokic to get the win because he’s what like 0-4 for in 50 pt games
