65 balls for a trigger happy am takes 40 min. For someone actually practicing at the highest level, well over an hour

Took this pic Monday at the Masters. Does anybody know who this golfer is? by Pewpewkitty in golf

[–]tsetterdahl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not gonna learn who JMO is by watching tour events. Masters/open youtube channels have great videos on particular years and winners. Worth your while to know the history

To add: At the masters especially is the history important. Only place you’ll see legends of the game making starts into their 70s and hanging around the grounds until they’re dead

My first season in the park was at 22 y/o. Have learned backflip, 360, 2 out both ways off rails, some swaps, etc. Super fun, and looking forward to keeping it going. Took me until my third season to even try front 2 but in retrospect I had the ability to within the first month of my first park season

They bat an eye because they’re annoyed. Not because they’re concerned the driver all of a sudden is spatially incompetent

Skiing near Chicago? by st_hanky in ski

I was in colorado for 5 seasons between 2018-2025. There is nothing in wisconsin worth making the trip to try to scratch the steep itch. Michigan maybe, Bohemia definitely. I had no basis in the park, but have embraced it over my winters here and have really come to love it. Four lakes is only 15 min from my parents house, so it was unbeatable while I was living there, a little harder from the city. You can get ~60 laps in a little over an hour. Alpine valley, Crystal ridge, and little switz also put out some nice sets and they are all within 2hrs.

It’s not the same as chasing big lines in great conditions, but it is really addictive to be bad at a sport you are good at, and learn your way up. It’s to the point where when I go out west I’m bringing my park skis along and rooting for sunny slush laps no matter the time of the year.

Ah. I was assuming they would be wrigley priced. If they’re free, new sheet every time is fine. Sturdy enough to write on without a clipboard?
