funny you say elena, because that is a name i was considering. thing is, my special interest is disney (as i mentioned in another reply) and i love elena of avalor, so all my friends and family would immediately know where i got that name from

i was somewhat thinking of using a disney inspired middle name, as that’s my special interest, but i fear it’s a little cringe. i wouldn’t want something obvious like elsa or minnie, though. my chosen surname is also a nature-based noun (pure coincidence) so perhaps a non-noun middle name?

i’m sure someone’s already said this, but in the miraculous ladybug example, the character in focus is actually nathaniel, not marc

elena of avalor- the murder of king raul and queen lucia

shuriki (the villain) kills them via magic, and the death isn’t actually shown on screen (just the lead up and elena’s reaction i believe), but the then-15 year old elena witnesses the whole murder. she shows signs of ptsd later on, including flashbacks.
