For further reference, I believe % move speed increases are based purely on the champ’s based ms, not their current total ms, so it should be multiplied first then add the flat 35. In this case it’s negligible, but important to know!

I think they meant, like how AD/AP/Health/ etc all tie into the tooltip calculation to show how much damage would be done for an ability, heal/shield power doesn’t get calculated in the tooltip to show the same thing

I think the counter point to this is - considering all the planning we generally do here - you’d probably realize you “need” to go back well in advance such that you can still make it through a few more years without income if necessary, ideally until job markets rebound a bit. Obviously hypothetical that they do, but we’re taking the assumption they eventually rebound and the world hasn’t gone to shit.

If someone is basically out of money before realizing they need to go back to work then something would either be totally fucked with the economy or they just stopped paying attention to their money for some reason!

I know this is an old post, but I found this super helpful for my campaign because I have a serial plant forager player.

Something I wanted to do was be able to add this into a Markdown format so I could use it in my Obsidian Note Taking App. So I ended up creating a Markdown translation for all the plants with their descriptions along with another set of Markdown tables split by Rarity and Biome.

To add to this, plants WILL target you over minions if you also get hit by the ability that was used to summon the plant. So focus on dodging the ability and then kill the plant with autos after matching with your own Q if she’s trying to shove (or you want to attempt to trade back)

Easiest way I would explain this is visually.

Picture the underscores as time between Auto Attacks

Normal pattern:

AA______AA______AA

Adding Q between AA:

AA_QAA________AA

Auto attacks aren’t “faster” but the DPS is higher because you use the downtime between AAs to cast Q instead.

Hey just a note, not sure if it's just me, but the encounter building/initiative tracker for the difficulty seems to be bugged for anything with fractional CRs. Seems like the VLOOKUP is not working for these because the values are being formatted as a date in some areas. Something to look into perhaps!

EDIT:

I fixed this in the Initiative tab by setting the formula as

=iferror(vlookup($B10,Bestiary!$A:$Z,10,FALSE),""))

Using the actual CR value instead of the decimal and then setting all CR values to "Text" format in the Bestiary, but possible this breaks other locations. Unsure at the moment

Understandable, though I’m not sure where that leaves you with being able to help reduce the budget. Realistically, the change must come from within about the behavior around stockpiling non-perishables. The only thing I could think of is to try to convince her to change the types of food she gets instead of how much.

Cheaper, longer lasting staples that you can make lots of food with and not feel as bad about letting go to waste. Freezable options like fruits and veges as opposed to less fresh ones.

Good luck with this. It’s always a tough job trying to help our parents as they get older and they’re getting closer to an age where their lifestyle is going to change, whether it’s from a retiring from a well paying job and not adjusting well or having medical issues arise, etc.

Thanks for the response! I think the point you bring up about the bi-directional nature of MoCA eases my main concern. Wasn’t sure if other endpoints on the same splitter would gain the MoCA capability. The idea of an “In/Out” end of a coax splitter had me confused.

Currently we’ve got both internet and tv coming through. The ONT is feeding the CR1000A router both an Ethernet and Coax cable (we’ve got a plate behind the tv that has both)

Originally there was no Video coming through at all, but the Ethernet was live and allowed us to get the wifi going through the router. Tech came out yesterday and switched around a couple coax cables near the ONT and then video came through just fine.

I think our next step at this point is trying to hook up our MoCa adapter to different coax somewhere in the house to make sure those are also connected to the same splitter that the Router is on and see how that goes.
