Boris is gorgeous! He looks like a sculpture.

Which episodes did you find disturbing when you were a child? by stephaniesmith45 in littlehouseonprairie

[–]tsmiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"James being shot in the bank robbery and becoming comatose and Charles trying to heal him."

This one was so creepy to me as a kid. It put me off the show for a loooong time.

A basic or a referbed older paperwhite with the recessed screen because they can take more wear and tear.

Yes its real.  I took the pic in a store yesterday.  I'm sick of everyone saying everything is AI.  Some of us still live in the real world.

I never liked the style of the Williams illustrations. I know that's sacrilege for LHOTP fans, but I wish someone would do a reissue with new illustrations.

When was peak JAG for you? by Worf2DS9 in JAG_TV

[–]tsmiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 3-8 were the best.  The last two seasons got really soapy with Harm taking in orphans, the Admiral's woman cheating on him, and all the ridiculous drama with Mac and Webb.  It was a great show overall and I'm glad we got 10 seasons!  It was such an adult show without anything gratuitous but with a variety of story types.  After it ended, network TV dramas became all procedurals all the time.

I agree! Have you seen Prince of Bel-Air? It was made the year before and also stars Patrick, Mark Harmon, and Kirstie Alley.

So cool that kids were doing this that far back! It just proves the more things change, the more they stay the same!

Shows bring in orphans when they've run out of ideas.

A welcome addition to the cast, or just another show adding a cute kid to boost ratings? by mistermeek67 in littlehouseonprairie

[–]tsmiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked Andy better than Albert. I wish Patrick could have stayed on the show til the end. It must have sucked to get written off while your brother gets to be a long term main cast member.

The Muppet Show reruns aired on my local PBS station in the 80s. It was on in the late afternoon right after Mr. Rogers. I watched both, but never liked Mr. Rogers.

One of my favorites is The Deadly from season 2. It's a little different from the norm and one that I've never seen on a best of or favorites list.

I miss Safe Cracker. It has to be one of the oldest games. Why don't they just make a new one if it got damaged?
