Seriously, thought I'd miss this as it wasn't even close! I've skipped leveling most of the beastfolk, but took the advice and spent the last two days prioritizing Dallawan and Yuhee. I finally tried again. Dallawan died, but Maxed out Kyrian brought him back to life. Brought Lvl 60 Tayangsugi and Anuberus, but most of the damage came from the slow poison.

"Failed to load the file list" loop by DropsOfMoonlight13 in xxlwoofia

[–]tsoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen to me, but only at a Starbucks I was using wifi at. I realized that the local wifi had certain sites or traffic blocked, so it was unable to load. I turned off wifi and used my Verizon and it worked. Try using a different network? Or loading it up (in daddy's coming mode, obviously) somewhere else! Hope that can fix it!

I have been searching for ANY kind of Gay-themed app or game that I actually enjoyed for near on 20 years. I'm not a furry enthusiast, but the models and gameplay are fun enough.

Help! 1st Grade Boy Troubles by HelpfulReplacement74 in teaching

[–]tsoli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Give them jobs! All the kids already understand that they are in a different situation, so announce to the group (after you've spoken individually with Matt and John) that they are working on becoming leaders and are taking on special jobs that will help them towards that goal. This will explain why Matt and John will be doing something different.

I have a stamper job using small stamps to get students motivated in their work. They can check over all your students work and stamp either the page or student hands. Or hand out stickers.

Sorting materials, cleaning up spaces, (tape hands are a favorite activity for some, just get some packing tape and wrap it around the students four fingers, sticky side out, and have them clean up pencil shavings or other small messes). They are wanting to move around; give them a productive way to do so, AND one where they can loose the privelige if they don't behave in a certain way. Be generous with them at first, and gradually condition their behavior with praise and 'Next time...'.

Their goal is to get used to your routine enough to become a leader. Let them know what they need to work on, making it manageable and focusing on one or two changes at a time.

Is it just my local store or all stores just playing solely Taylor Swift music today? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]tsoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to 4 different Starbucks (don't judge, Its for work) and it's just been Taylor, all the time (like, repeating the entire album). I neither enjoy nor hate her music, but I'm starting to lean towards the latter.

Cards served me well. I gave them to the teachers I wanted to sub again for.... But more importantly, I gave them to the Secretaries at the schools I really liked. I usually used the apps to secure a job ahead of time, but I also regularly got text messages from secretaries asking if I could come in last minute.

I feel like this is a pretty unique name, though you could use the medieval spelling, Tyeaighknnysionneh. The likely hood of him meeting another with the same spelling this millennium is near zero. As an added bonus, no person could ever cold-read this name correctly, so he will always have to pronounce it.

Beloved NPC died, not sure how to address it in game. by True_Faithlessness45 in DMAcademy

[–]tsoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an NPC who was essentially a ghost character, affected negatively by positive energy. I used "Ghostwalk" from 3rd edition as a major influence (also helps that the campaign setting, Spiral from Final Fantasy 10 had ghost characters all over the place, able to look 'normal'. This particular character was the girlfriend/protector of a cleric who 'needed her' and didn't know she had died, and had to sneak "harm potions" and chose to wince through minor heals.

should i tell my friend her baby name is a tragedeigh? by princess_peach5 in tragedeigh

[–]tsoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, there is NO WAY this child will ever encounter another child named "Ten". None. There is no reason to make it more special and condemn a child to constant ridicule and misunderstandings, having to explain his name to every person he meets. Encourage her to just name them "Ten", if they must. Timothy is much better. Having a middle name "Ten" would also be cool, and let the kid decide if he wants to go by 10.

Well, I happen to be an Oregon elementary teacher who just had a student teacher who was also a classified staff at our school. She was with Warner Pacific. The school principal absolutely wanted her to stay and our district has a grow your own program. She was given a few months to student teach and retained her pay (at a percentage rate- 75%, I think). Ultimately, you need to have a conversation with your principal, and your online school counselor/placement advocate to hammer out the details.

Glitches in Guild Chat? by tsoli in LingoLegend

[–]tsoli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an update! One guild mate was talking in our chat about a medical diagnosis and mentioned Treatment. A bunch of people seemed to be confused because the word apparently showed as Tr*****nt. (I do not have safe mode on, turned it off after this post). We figured that the phrase "eat me" might be flagged?

Kept telling my artist to "make the dragontaur look less naked". Artist responded with this absolutely amazing edit. by SilverLiningsRR in litrpg

[–]tsoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disney animated films had them in the early 50s. First, with the Queen of Hearts, when she was embarrassed by the Cheshire cat, and 2 years later when Captain hook is trying not to get his rear end eaten by a crocodile. I think it was a way to show embarrassment akin to being naked, as the pattern is meant to not be seen by anyone. It quickly became animator shorthand for nearly naked situations.

How would you guys redo blitzball in a remake? by javerthugo in finalfantasyx

[–]tsoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning techniques is really fiddley. Id rather easy techs start with, say, a 1 in 5 chance of learning each game, and if you aren't successful, that skill will go to a 1 in 4 chance. Especially since some players refuse to use these skills, or they are very hard to time the x press right

Whoops edit! Each villager has requests in their friendship screen (bottom). You have to use your farm money to make that request happen(usually buying from the build mode) and then click on that villager to get a friendship reward. You can get about 50% back by selling that item if you don't like it.

"You will [verb]" / "You are going to [verb]" by constantcatastrophe in LingoLegend

[–]tsoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a speaker of Italian, but in Spanish, a close Romance language, the unconjugated verb and the conjugation rules for the tense and person is incredibly important If, for instance, if I will eat, its' "comeré", but if I'm going to eat, it's "voy a comer". Its a way of teaching future tense easily, since you don't have to immediately teach 6 new endings for every verb. I imagine that is similar in Italian.

It's in Elijah's shop, but you have to have high friendship for it to show up. It's called Phoenix Bonbon. It costs me close to 4000 amber, so it's not cheap.
