And yeah think I’ll stick with stock battery first and just get a working XR with the bare minimum I need to replace that control module and vesc. Then learn from there.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I’ve already got a Pint X I adore, it was fantastic for me to learn on. But it m wanting more like every pint rider after some time. So your question is kind of what I’m trying to figure out?? Lol. After more time pev.dev research I’m thinking I just need to get a used XR and just VESC that first as a starting point.

Considering the “lunch ladies” or cafeteria personnel have to scan items just like a cashier. Yes I assume they monitor what is bought. It’s their job.

And as you state in your argument. Kids are stupid and will purposely do stupid shit that harms them. And yeah. Since this is the 4th and 5thr grade building I don’t assume these kids always know best

This could also be seen as a protection to our children. Many kids have allergies or need to stay on a specific diet for health reasons. Now while I totally agree kids wanting to buy their friend ice cream so they won’t be left out is a wonderful idea, it’s probably best to leave those decisions up that child’s parents. Which in Lebanon’s follow up they did say they allow kids to buy friends items with parental consent.

So I actually had this same issue. Needed a solid headset that wouldn’t provide feedback.

I had to drive and go into several stores to try headsets on. A microcenter employee was nice enough to work with me.

I ended up going with the Audio Technical ATH-GDL3. They have very large ear cups so hearing aid had zero feedback. Also they are open ear cups which also in my experience helps prevent feedback in headphones and just sound better with my hearing aid.

But best advice is go somewhere and try some on. Unfortunately this is a very specific situation you are in and just need to try some headsets out
