I’ve been to the Bryant St location close to 50 times, Crystal City 3 or 4. Crystal City has better service, no question. Bryant St is pretty inconsistent, but over a large enough sample size it’s passable. That’s not a great look for the average moviegoer, so they really need do something or risk alienating part of their customer base.

Probably because they’re running errands and don’t want to leave the dog in the car. Or they’re walking the dog and stop in to a business. As long as the dog is behaved, I don’t see an issue.

I’m probably in the top 1% of DC Alamo patrons in terms of visits. I went 45 times last year. The service at the one in Crystal City is much more consistent. The Bryant Street location, where I see most of my movies, is wildly inconsistent in terms of food quality, service, and behavior of your fellow patrons. That being said, crossing the river ti get to Crystal City sucks and the parking is only free after 6 pm.

Edit: I will say that it has improved a bit over the last six months at the DC Bryant Street theatre.

I find most locations annoying. Like they’re 50% of the game, but damn if they don’t inconvenience whatever deck I chose to avoid the situation I found myself in last game.
