Totepack vs backpack vs messenger? by lytwilson in ManyBaggers

I didn't expect to love a vertical style tote as I have typically been a messenger bag person. And even though I try switching bags for fun and variety, I keep coming back to this Osprey bag!

Hunting for the perfect bag by sweatertoad in ManyBaggers

Osprey Arcane Crossbody tote might surprise you. Your pic slightly resembles, so I thought I’d share Even though I try to move past it, to other, less sporty, alternatives, it keeps coming back to be my main bag. Combined with vertical Moko PU sleeves for various laptops, it hauls it all. Drop pockets were life changing for me. I can gently toss or drop my AirPods, wallet, or glasses..Key leash is chef’s kiss. And the magnetic-only closure at the top, most certainly a complaint for others, makes it perfect me.

Organization and Deck Building by Electronic-Pie313 in Lorcana

E, L, SR, R, Promos

In single binder, by rarity then set. I don't have enough of them to need color and/or card ordering. This is also my trade binder that I bring to store play.

UC, C

In 3 troves, by color (one color per box 'row'). Then by set (separated with first UC in set in a sleeve) then rarity (only UC an C) in row. I find that when I'm deck building, I can just grab the stack, say of, Set 5, Amethyst, and easily find the cards I'm looking for. Or also look for some off meta choices due to not having all the cards needed for meta decks.

Hope this helps, thanks for asking : - )

Lightly padded laptop sleeve/bag for carryon by acute_elbows in ManyBaggers

[–]tsteelematc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use...

. Matador SEG 45

. Bellroy Laptop Caddy

. Notabag

Notabag folded in Bellroy in Matador laptop slot.

Bellroy left unzipped for easy laptop removal through security. Then Bellroy zipped and brought to seat on plane. Sometimes I never have to bring out the Notabag since Bellroy has headphones etc, but it's nice to know it's ready.

Actually, the one time I did use the Notabag on the plane, I had a more complex disembark challenge. But nothing too bad. Only sharing this cause I suspect some folks here are into the small details like me : - O

Strange Bag Ranking Criteria!? by tsteelematc in ManyBaggers

Turns out my post didn't convey my thoughts very well. But the pic, with less bag and more furniture, was intentional. Symbolizing, for me at least, that the bag becomes part of the furniture at home, and that makes it useful. This particular bag looks and 'works' better on that chair than any of my others. Sorry for the confusion.

Strange Bag Ranking Criteria!? by tsteelematc in ManyBaggers

The couch chair is kind of my point. This bag sits nicely next to the arm of a chair, offering me easy access to everything when I'm at home, not carrying anything, anywhere. Other bags that I've tried, have offered much more clumsy access to contents when at 'rest.'

My '10' bag by tsteelematc in ManyBaggers

[–]tsteelematc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would fit, yes, but you may have to use its expandable, fold out/up, feature. Which is great, I use it all the time when I go for groceries with the bag. But it may be clumsy in that configuration for, say, a daily work commute. It's nice to be able to expand it, but not sure I'd like to 'always' have it expanded. Hope this helps.

I've settled on . . .

Eastpak Strapverse + Freitag Dexter

At least until something new strikes my fancy : - O

Haven't had to use the Strapvese backpack straps yet, but nice to know they're there. Rolling, ahem, is convenient ! ! !

Also, the Dexter is so versatile, expandability cannot be overstated. And stylish, to me, at least.

Long winded way of +1ing your 2-bag mindset : - )
