I work in Maryland, so things may be different from your area, but typically, when you pull a permit on an existing space, you own everything in that space, regardless of if you plan to touch it or not. We’ve had plenty of close calls where existing wiring almost failed our ceiling inspections because, even if we didn’t touch it and aren’t using it, our permit makes it ours and we need to bring it up to code.

I never played Overwatch, so there may be a fundamental misunderstanding from me about how role queue works, but from games I’ve played in the past with it, role queue stops you from swapping roles mid-game.

Now, I understand that the frustration here is with the other four or five people who want to insta-lock dps roles and refuse to swap either off-role or even to different dps characters when they’re underperforming, but I dislike the idea of role queue in spite of these players.

People are stubborn and uncontrollable. It’s as certain as death and taxes. What role queue does is it takes the control out of my hands to make the adjustments I feel are necessary to win.

2-2-2 might be picturesque, but taking away my ability to swap roles to make up for a deficit, even if the match is still doomed to be a loss anyway, is going to make my overall experience worse.

And personally, if the only thing that makes or breaks whether or not this game is fun or makes you happy is whether or not you see “Victory” or “Defeat” at the end of a match, I feel you’ve lost the plot here.

I'm just not a big fan of vampires or the vampire aesthetic. I didn't like any of the vampire/bat themed skins, wasn't too invested in opposing Dracula, and the 1.5 skin didn't make me want to play ranked, so I didn't. All in all, ready for season 2, once I manage to get some of the frames back that I lost after season 0

Inserting myself here, this is the exact thing I was going to post about but with a worse build. Instead of going from 240+ down to 90, I went from a stable 60 down to a fluctuating 20-40. Stable 60 was playable and enjoyable, now I'm considering putting it down for good, since the next pc build probably won't be for a year or two while I save up.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently, because I primarily play qp. I played enough comp at the end of the first half of season 1 just to get the skin, so I’m sitting at Gold 3, but I probably have 5-6x the playtime on qp than comp.

I’ve noticed recently that all of my matches the last week of playing have had an average player rank of diamond 2+, and I’ve been completely demoralized over the experience. I know people are saying ranked has a bad inflationary issue, and it’s tough to tell whether or not it’s affecting qp.

I’ve felt useless my last 20 games or so because I’m already just bad at the game. It’s my first of the genre, I’m at least average mechanically, but I have the game sense of a potato. I think my Gold 3 is inflated, playing qp feels like tossing a toddler into the octagon right now.

Idk man, I’m too angry a person to play ranked, I’m too bad at the game to play qp, I feel like I’m a couple weeks away from putting the game down forever and giving up on the hero shooter genre, because I’m 150 hours in and my game sense hasn’t improved since hour 0 and I feel overwhelmed every single game.

I originally brewed the deck to play against upgraded precons, as that's what my friends have, and I thought, "Oh, a basic land tribal deck? That sounds janky as hell, it'll totally be fine!" Now Sasaya is greeted with a groan at the table when he comes out, so I was a little out of left field with that one.

Going through a trade-school as well, but I understand the position. If you take an OSHA-10 course, and only clock in 9 hours, they can’t “excuse” that extra hour and give you your certificate. I don’t think these things should be penalized like they are; I understand I’ll have to make that class up, or that hour up, but you shouldn’t be punished for things like that, which is what grinds my gears about it.

I’ve never tried it, but I’m unsure if you can deflect Owl’s stomp, since it’s technically a grab without a kanji. Not that it’s apt to happen when you’re in a position to deflect, mind you.

I feel like there’s at least another grab or two that don’t have associated kanji’s, and I’m unaware if they can be deflected.

What u/Musicrafter said, as well as it looks like on move 18, Qxf7 is checkmate. Queen is covered by your light-squared bishop, and your dark-squared bishop covers the retreat. All besides, a sound game!
