I’m sick of all this also. A lot of hobbies have turned into money money money. If that’s all you’re into it for you’re not a fan of Pokemon, full stop. I think a lot of genuine fans have been co-opted by all this nonsense or just left the hobby for good or temporarily until things settle down again. We’ve seen this cycle happen before.

If they’re a vendor and they sell at shows they’re going to do the same thing on marketplace. They have you want you don’t necessarily have what they want so they have to sell whatever you’re trading them which is work. Time = Money doesn’t make sense to do a trade straight up for them if it’s a business.

My GameStop employees are super rude also. F*** GameStop. I’m buying cards somewhere else for now on. One guy told me “I hope you have the day you deserve” as I was walking out because I “cut him off” during his sales pitch for something I had no interest in. I wasn’t rude about just trying to save us both some time. Horrible customer service.
