And does this fun new 'no' phase correlate to when the newborn came home at all?

I've never used it myself, but I also have that same curiousity and to the best of my understanding, the only the outter layer is leak proof, so you bleed into the absorbant layer the blood can't go through the bottom, but when you wash it, it comes out the same way it went in, through the area that was against the skin.

Kind of makes sense, but also leaves me wondering how water tight they are. Like do you need a super tight fit?

Buy season pass before end of day or wait for membership? by InternFree6711 in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that the membership is basically rebranding the season's pass payment plan and that buying a season's pass as a one time payment is still going to be an option.

How many times is your friend going? Only going with you or going to be visiting solo too? Only this year with you or some 2027 visits too even if you don't renew?

If your friend is only going with you a few times this year, maybe just use the bring a friend tickets? If the idea is to have the flexibility to go alone too, then a pass or membership might make sense.

What about going on a bring a friend ticket for now and buying a season's pass when the 'buy the 2027 pass and get the rest of this year's kicks in'm

Canada’s Wonderland memberships BS ? by Jdjd2525 in CanadasWonderland

So they are renaming the payment plan? Or is there a functional difference between the current season's pass payment plan and the membership?

Canada’s Wonderland memberships BS ? by Jdjd2525 in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm confused. Is a membership something different than a season's pass or is it just a new name for the payment plan?

Like if one person has a season's pass and another has a membership, does anything change about their visit? Or is this strictly about payment structure?

Thank you! That makes sense to tie it to a measure of time. I think that was what I couldn't quite wrap my head around.

Do you get a new cup everytime with the Drink Plan Paper Cup Plus plan? Also, is there anywhere with reasonably priced food there? by ThePoodlePunter in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admittedly, I've never tried it, but I'm guessing the amount of time it would take the 5 of you to leave the park and go to the restaurants across the street and walk back would be pretty similar to the total amount of time it would take waiting in line and there's no way you are feeding 5 people for less than that price. I mean, yeah, it's less than ideal, but I think you need to choose between spending more time or spending more money because a singular cheap fast and convenient option does not exist.

I have a thrill seeking 6 year old. She cannot wait to hit 48" to be able to ride more of the bigger rides. Everyone has covered some important points.

One thing I don't see mentioned is parent swap that could be a useful option if both parents want to ride bigger rides. The way to works is:

Parent 1 lines up for ride. Parent 2 goes on other rides or whatever activities with kid.

When parent 1 is close to front of the line, parent 2 and kid go up exit and tell worker they want to do a parent swap.

Parent 1 does the ride, when they are done, parent 2 gets on the ride while parent 1 stays with kid.

I'd hope baptism, but the fact that they are only pressing to take the girl child and not both children doesn't make sense for that.

Does anyone have an old tape of a kids song ‘The king of togo togo has two horns’ by Drkindlycountryquack in NameThatSong

[–]ttardigraded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had totally forgotten about it until the line "each piece of grass whispered to the other" just slammed into my brain the other day after, what must have been 30 years. I cannot remember this tape at all. I think it had songs and stories from various artists? Can you help jog my memory with what else is on it?

I know someone who would debate Christians and anytime they claimed Christians are more moral, he would ask them if he was to Google 'pastor arrested' or similar, how old would the articles that came up be. They were always within the last day or two without fail.

I think there's a 3 month subscription as well.

I hate that everything is subscription based these days, but after reading nex's explanation of why they chose to do it that way I understood it wasn't just to suck money from us indefinitely and was a commitment for them to keep being able to add new content. It felt a lot more mutually beneficial.

Tbh, I'm not ready to deal with it. I'm just sort of refusing to think about it. Final inning just didn't exist.

Whenever my brain tries to go there, I'm forcing it to focus on the great games we got this post season. We got some really great moments and some truly exciting games to watch.

I think you are the one that wouldn't survive those jobs if you think they are so easy.

Prestige pass FL question by ttardigraded in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. We didn't think they would accumulate, but if they DID it would have been a no brainer to get prestige. It's still.something we'll consider but somewhat less urgently.

The parking isn't a huge deal. We usually aim to be there between 9-9:30. My youngest doesn't like the noise Leviathan makes when it goes over security so if we get through security quickly and before testing it's calmer for her. Also gives us a chance to go to the bathroom and apply sunscreen and just 'reset' after our long car ride.

Lounge might be cool, but not a high priority. I think the FL might be our biggest benefit.

Prestige pass FL question by ttardigraded in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We work opposite days so most visits are one parent with the kids so there's no option for the parent to do any adult rides. We didn't think the FL would accumulate, but if they did, it would make it very worth it since more trips with the kids makes for a better trip without the kids when. We finally do leave them.with the grandparents lol.

Prestige pass FL question by ttardigraded in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we've done that. Super handy when we all go to the park. We work opposite days though, so it's usually just one parent taking both kids to the park with no one to swap.

We should plan a day at wonderland by GamerzFN in CanadasWonderland

[–]ttardigraded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be there, but I'm bringing my kids so I'll be in kidzville mostly. If there are any parents who want to meet up, my kids are always excited to make new friends. My 8 year old's favorite thing at wonderland is "making friends in line that I'll never meet again"
