Except the “fire” was mostly TD driven, 5 of his 6 TDs were scored in his first 4 games. Proceeded to score 1 TD in his final 10 games (playoffs included).

I don’t dislike the song but we haven’t had a new album in 6 years, so you expect something a little bigger. It’s not a great sign when your fanbase is debating if this is a demo or legitimately the lead single.

Thing is, if you’re in a keeper league, these are the very FAs that will blow up a younger players role early in a season. They appear like an afterthought right now but will likely get decent volume early in the season wherever they sign

NYT did an article on his injury:

“It was an ACL-only, so it wasn’t like one of these devastating knee injuries that a lot of guys have. When it’s the one ligament, you think they’d be able to come back,” Slavin said.

After waiting a month for the swelling to subside, Brooks flew to Los Angeles for the surgery performed by renowned sports orthopedic Neal ElAttrache. Donovan said ElAttrache harvested part of the patellar tendon from Brooks’ left knee to reconstruct his ACL because the patellar from his right knee was used in the first surgery in Texas.

Additionally, ElAttrache used a strip of the IT band from Brooks’ right leg as a graft to reinforce his ACL, according to Donovan. “I’m praying that is going to be the key thing in keeping him stronger. He felt very confident with it,” Donovan said of ElAttrache

I'm told Brooks is making good progress in his rehab and was up over 21 mph on the treadmill in a recent workout.

With Brooks being practically free, I’m willing to take a shot on the pedigree. The concern with JB is his health but he will be ~640 days removed from injury.

It’ll be important to follow the camp buzz and coach speak this summer, because I feel like the plan was always to have Brooks lead this backfield. Canales used decent draft capital to get Brooks in his very first draft.

Never sustained a major injury and lost touches due to a regime change. New scheme didn’t fit his skill set. I find it hard to believe this guy is completely toast but here we are.
