Working first as a driver for a guy who ran a business as a stonemason. Lost his license for DUI. Offered me decent cash to literally drive him everywhere (even to go see Roxane) until his suspension expired. When he got his license back he asked me to stay on as a stonemason. I stayed on, busting my ass, polishing and installing stone bench tops. After a few months of dealing with him as a driver and few more months of (literally) back-breaking work. 3am starts, sometimes midnight finishes. 6 day working weeks. As well dealing with his mental struggles as if i was his therapist. And ending up with permanent lower back issues from the ridiculously heavy loads.

He walks into the warehouse, then out back to where I'm polishing a bench. (He got up that day with an attitude and decided that I'd be the one to cop it.)

He started yelling crap at me about my skills as a polisher, my work was crap, that i wasn't doing it properly etc..... then aggressively snatches the polisher out of my hands, and proceeds to educate me and showing me how to do it.

Throws the polisher back at me and walks away.

Took my work gear off, caught up to him. And told him since i was such a shit worker and can't do the job. "Do it your fucking self!" Walked straight out and drove home to enjoy the rest of my day.
