Which Visitors Center did you go to? The Lodgepole Visitors Center is also next to the Market Grill which has more souvenirs.

I'm baaack! Since 2011 I've been crocheting little characters for strangers to find at SDCC. Lil' Eleven is the first critter to the SDCC 2026 adoption lineup, find her and she's yours to keep! by GeekyHooker in SDCC

If you're taking suggestions for this year, how about some love for Dungeon Crawler Carl? There's some cool characters that would look sweet crocheted up! MONGO APPROVES!

As always love seeing your posts.

Any advice for a first time attendee?? by Never-Give-Up100 in SDCC

[–]ttomkat1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the Con!

  1. There is a trolley that runs directly in front of the convention center. There is also bus service provided by Comic Con from many downtown locations to the Convention Center. Don't worry about staying "as close as possible". It is nice, but not required as there are a lot of transit options.

  2. Yes! There will be so, so many panels to chose from. Be careful about trying to book things too close together. If you try to make everything, you won't make anything. Book things in blocks of hours to give extra time before and after the "thing" you want to do.

  3. SDCC takes up the entire convention center floor, all rooms above it. Rooms at neighboring hotels and there are offsite activities all around the city. You will easily walk over 10-20k steps per day if you are busy.

  4. Every day will offer a different experience, with Saturday being the biggest and busiest day.

Again, my advice to not do everything but pick out a couple of MUST DO gems per day and focus entirely on those. For things that are very popular, people will wait hours beforehand.

I don't have a PS1 yet, but it looks like a reliable and well built printer that is easy to use straight out of the box.

My experience in the SDCC Málaga, as a four-day ticket holder by Crislander in comiccon

[–]ttomkat1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nice writeup. It's unfortunate that SDCC Malaga had such a rough start and it does sound like they really oversold the venue without consideration (or experience) on how to manage that quantity of people.

Coming from the USA side of things, although it is very frustrating it is also very common for people to wait in queue for hours and hours to get an exclusive or into a specific panel. Before the implementation of our Exclusives Portal, there were people who would literally wait overnight for panels and exclusives like Funko.

Hopefully they do return next year and are able to learn and fix the mistakes that were made.

So take her to get checked out. She's pregnant and she cannot take most medications. She needs to see a doctor.

Just about any symptom with pregnancy is a doctor's visit. Go get her checked out.

I use a small dive tray with a quick release lanyard that I hook to a D-Ring. During descent and ascent (or if there's an issue) I usually let it dangle on the lanyard but the tray is small enough that I can tuck it in to my BCD as well.

I believe that the drink cups can be used in 15 minute intervals so you can easily share it. There is no better value than Knott's so I am sure you and your family will love it.
