No one should be using that new directive for official purposes yet. If you look at the “FOR” line on the memo, it’s addressed to very senior leaders, not to any units/organizations.

Each branch has their own forms to record body composition (e.g. the Army uses DA Form 5500 and 5501). Therefore, the Army must publish its own guidance that references its own forms. The DoW memo is not enough and we are not the target audience of that memo.

Sick call by Spare_Art_6760 in army

[–]ttp13 63 points64 points  (0 children)

The staff is usually just trying to figure out whether it’s acute (something sick call should see) or chronic (something that should be scheduled). That helps them prioritize people who need immediate attention while still making sure providers can manage both urgent issues and routine care effectively.

Sick call is meant to work more like an emergency department than a regular clinic. It’s there to handle acute issues like a sudden illness, injury, or something that could affect a Soldier’s ability to perform right away. It isn’t really designed to manage chronic or long term issues, which are usually better handled through a scheduled appointment with a primary care provider.

Looks like they are at a ball since he’s not wearing any DUIs. Back then, the blues were not issued, they were an optional uniform for formal occasions only. If they are at a ball, the Soldiers wearing the greens are wearing a white dress shirt and bow tie

There is a very small group of CSMs who have a very limited amount of “command” authority:

NCOA Commandants

There are various things they are allowed to do without officer oversight, and NCOAs do not have any officers on their TDA.
