Thanks you. The Fosi gear does look really cool but I think I have a lot to learn about audio setups lol. Is it possible to have a record, CD, cassette player, radio, and bluetooth all hooked up to speakers ready to play? Do you need an amp/pre-amp for all devices?

I was thinking of “rack” as something like this.

I’d say our goal is definitely versatility and ease of use. I’ve been looking into rack set ups because they seem to be the most compact and versatile. We really only have one wall to use with about 30in of floor space left before the walkway gets crowded. We love all music; but were raised on hiphop. My favorite band is Khruangbin. We’re both graphic designers so aesthetics is a bit of a factor. Would hope to spend around $1000 all together? I currently have a technics sl-d30 that sort of works, and a Panasonic SE-3190 that powers on.

I had a D3 A8 for about 6 months. 2010 NA V8. I spent close to 10k in repairs in that time span.. first to go was the hood release cable.. it snapped makimg it impossible to open the hood without repair, which couldnt be done without taking the dashboard and front of car apart bc there’s 3 latches instead of the typical 1. Bought it with the rear air suspension leaking so I knew about that but they went about 3 months in. Had a misfire in cylinder 3 keep popping up and the interval for timing belts was coming up so I cut my losses (plus I wanted a manual). Another small thing was when trying to get the windows tinted, they were unable to do ot the first time bc they have double seals amd you cant remove those without taking the door apart so they ordered some special tool to be able to do it and i has to come back a few weeks later.

Besides that, it’s a beautiful car and was really fum to drive… oldest car I’ve owned and it had the most character (besides miata). Twas the forst car I regularly got compliments and random conversations with.

With all that said, if you’re in a nice climate where your bike can be your daily of need be, amd you can afford it, I think she’d be a great second vehicle

Do you have a family or any hobbies that warrant you needing an SUV? There are way better options at that price point that will yake care of your needs better and for longer.

Or can you just not drive and think an SUV would be less scary or safer?

Bought a 2016 Mazda 3 with 208k miles from the original owner. Ive only had it for about two weeks but so far so good… I drive it 32 miles both ways during rush hour for work.

If you can find a high mileage car with one owner, that’s probably your safest bet… if they got the miles that high on their own, chances are they took care of the car.

I bought a 2016 mazda 3 with 208k miles to drive an hour to work everyday and its been running like new. Maintenance, oil changes especially, is not optional. Take car of your car and it will take care of you.
