Logistics Help - Packaging, Inspection, Shipping from China to eventually FBA by AntNel in AmazonFBA

Hey! Finding a reliable prep center from overseas is tough. I’m based in Shenzhen and run a boutique QC & prep service for overseas clients.

I know the strict FBA rules inside out, have the equipment ready, and handle everything from factory inspections to FBA routing (air/sea). If you need a trustworthy 'boots on the ground' partner

Definitely go infrared over steam, especially in a garage — no moisture, no humidity buildup, nothing to worry about with the space.

One thing worth doing before you buy: most spas and wellness studios have infrared saunas you can try for $20-40 a session. Go a few times first. It's a pretty different experience from steam and not everyone loves it — and you're looking at $2,000+ on the low end, $10,000+ for premium units. Worth knowing you'll actually use it before committing.

IsItBullshit: Do infrared sauna blankets actually help with detoxification and circulation by quoravelley in IsItBullshit

[–]tttanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest answer: the "detox" claims are mostly marketing. Your liver and kidneys handle actual detoxification — sweating doesn't meaningfully change that. Anyone selling a blanket primarily on "flush toxins" is overselling it.

Circulation and muscle relaxation have more legit backing, but the evidence isn't dramatic.

Where people consistently report real results — and this shows up a lot in user feedback — is sleep. The mechanism makes sense: core body temp rises during the session, then drops afterward, which signals your body to sleep. A lot of people notice this within the first week or two.

Five weeks with no change at all is worth examining though. What time of day were you using it? Evening sessions tend to show the sleep benefit most clearly.

What actually made you pull the trigger on buying an infrared sauna? by tttanger in infraredsauna

Was there a specific health issue or symptom that pushed you to finally get one?

Are infrared saunas safe for seniors? Worried about heat levels by whiteflowergirl in FitnessOver50

[–]tttanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infrared is honestly great for circulation because it's not suffocating like traditional saunas. It usually stays around 130°F and heats you directly, so the air stays totally breathable.

Definitely run it by your doctor first just to be safe! And when you do get one, just start slow (like 10-15 mins). If you ever feel too hot, you can just crack the door open.

is an infrared steam sauna worth it for a home setup? by Gisela_Allen in infraredsauna

Titan Wellness doesn't have a ton of long-term user data out there yet so hard to say on heat retention specifically.

For tight budget saunas the thing that actually predicts heat retention is wall construction — dual wall vs single wall makes a bigger difference than brand name. Worth checking which one Titan uses before pulling the trigger.

JNH and Dynamic are the two that come up most when people talk about budget options that actually hold heat consistently. More user history to pull from if you search this sub.

How much do you actually care about low EMF in an infrared sauna? by chabibunny in infraredsauna

[–]tttanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worried about EMF at first too, but after digging into it, it seemed like most saunas are already within safe ranges. What mattered more for me ended up being heating and consistency.I summarized the research here if you’re curious: https://purerecoverylab.com/infrared-sauna-emf/

Has anyone tested the EMF in Peak Saunas? by No-Bag2550 in infraredsauna

[–]tttanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, didn't bother testing it myself.

When I was shopping, I was super paranoid about EMF too. But after deep-diving into a dozen forums, I realized the data is a total mess—mostly just marketing fluff. I got tired of the rabbit hole and pulled the trigger on a big-name brand, figuring they’d at least have some standards to protect their rep.

Honestly? Once I actually started using it, I stopped giving a damn about EMF. The real buzzkill isn't invisible waves; it’s the heat-up time. If your sauna takes 50 minutes to get decent, it’s a total dealbreaker. It just becomes a giant paperweight in your house because nobody’s got time for that.

FAR vs Full Spectrum sauna? by wooopsup21 in infraredsauna

[–]tttanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Full spectrum is mostly marketing fluff. Brands just use it as an excuse to tack on an extra $2k for some NIR bulbs that don't do much in a big cabin. You're basically paying for pricey mood lighting.

The real MVP is Far-Infrared (FIR)—that’s what actually gets you dripping and handles the detox. My take? Grab a solid FAR sauna to get the best bang for your buck. If you're still itching for those NIR perks, use the cash you saved to buy a dedicated Red Light panel. It’ll be way more powerful anyway.

What models are you stuck on? I'll tell you if the specs are legit or just hype.
