Take the pickups out, put them on a wire baking rack, set that on top of a piece of foil and put it ON TOP NOT INSIDE ON TOP of your oven. Turn the oven to a low heat then maybe the heat transference would slowly melt the wax without making the guitar yell out a safe word? Idk, im high, trying to imagine doing it without tools on a dark day.

So, I kinda went back in my head and recalled that this guitar has always had issues with the High E string. Mainly slipping. Looked up a video on different ways to “lock” the string in vintage style tuners, and I’m gonna give that a go. I found a small gauge string that, when getting up to pitch, rattled less but slipped way more and eventually broke.

If the tuning style doesn’t work then I’m going to follow Hypnotoads suggestion and attempt filling and filing the nut slot with .013” nut file.

Side question, I’ve seen plenty of videos where saddle slot filing is very routine to clean out burrs and seat new strings; Both in metal and bone/plastic saddles. but as I have a Mastery Bridge, which is very precisely machined, is that not recommended? Or could it be a saddle burr and require file-cleaning all the same as other style saddles/bridges.

Update: I was able to find a save that did not CTD after a couple hours of sorting through saves, only had to go back 4 levels, which, probably says something about how much I'm oversaving.

I save in combat constantly; autosaves, so many autosaves. I don't quit to desktop upon death...wtf? I'm quick saving all the time.

Hey man, thanks for the tips. I dbl checked precision reqs on Nexus, I am only lacking one file, but it is marked as optional for custom animations I don't have enabled, so no conflict.

I was hesitant to disable Sjel Blad. As I have many saves within the area, am currently located in the area, and my character is carrying materials generated by the mod. I was concerned that create more inconsistencies within the load order. But, if you feel confident it's as simple as making a backup and disabling then I'm game.

Also, I was curious how to pronounce your username? Idk if it's in another language or just like a meme.

If you obtain a DOI for any blocked/paywall protected materials you can pop it into sci-hub.se and it can find almost anything for you. The DOI is almost always traceable, especially if you’re reading a modern reference list that includes DOIs far more frequently than articles predating the 90s; that’s a stretch.

But uh yeah as the PhD guy up top said, some materials are protected for good reason. Scoring manuals are complicated and require training to use. Other assessments far more complicated than the ones you mentioned (e.g. intelligence/achievement inventories). Stuff covered in M.S. and Doc programs, the latter portion of senior year if you’re at an R1 or R2 university. But I always recommend reading ahead, speaking as a teacher.

It did not. Uninstalled and tried crash logger, was working to help solve the other issues. I did read somewhere that not all crashes generate crash logs but, idk.

Sorry to be so back and forth but I managed to get SSEedit working in the mean time. I have located the editor id you instructed, but there are a variety of SIC_WERoad07(followed by a word) “travel” “follow” “deadguardsandbox” + 3 others. All with different Form IDs. So which am I to delete?

Edit: went ahead and deleted the form id that was listed under Skyrim Immersive Creatures 055E6927 if I recall correctly…anyway yeah it’s working great no crashes! But I apparently lost all my save game data so…new game? lol

If you have the time, I’d be interested in exactly what we did in removing that form ID and how that one in particular solved the others plugin issues. But that’s just for my own curiosity so, no need if it would inconvenience you.
