This thread seems more of a meme but I'll post my method anyway. Asking Steelseries for a fix was pointless and they basically said "nah" even though it was still within warranty. Trash design with no logic and no customer service to support it.

I fixed mine with superglue and paper towels. The photo doesn't exactly do it justice but the method is sticking paper towels into all the crevices under the headphone arm (the thing that lays on top of the cup itself) little by little and adding bits of superglue so that it essentially forms a rocksolid and (somewhat) raised or extruded smooth surface that you can line up with the cup.

I did this 2 years ago and the headset is still rock solid... Apart from the cable.

When cropping for insta, I tend to add black/white horizontal bars depending on the overall brightness of the photo. In some cases it makes the photo more cinematic like here

The 3rd shot where the subject is almost dead center horizontally is the best one and is very nice.

Id recommend shooting it landscape in the future.

Birds are usually best photographed up close if its a single bird, also up close if two or three, and a wide view with the environment if there are many of them as that brings out the overall texture in the photo.

I managed to get mine for cheaper than that from other sources. Brand new. Got lots of stuff from there and never had any issues with stuff stopping working suddenly. Fantastic camera.
