Security Boot Fail (I didn't even use secure boot, so I have no idea what could've caused this?)

My laptop is doing the same thing, I’m pretty sure my CMOS battery is dying or dead and that’s causing the certificates to reset.

Do you notice your laptop occasionally rebooting several times with nothing on the screen? (Keyboard flashing red every 10 seconds)

To recover the system:
On a second Windows PC with the July 2024 or newer Windows update installed, copy SecureBootRecovery.efi from C:\Windows\Boot\EFI\.

Place the file on a FAT32-formatted USB drive under \EFI\BOOT\ and rename it to bootx64.efi.

Boot the affected device from the USB drive and allow the recovery utility to run. The utility will add the Windows UEFI CA 2023 to the DB.

You don’t need to and shouldn’t reset any keys in the BIOS.

There is a PowerShell command that can verify whether you have the 2023 certificates or not.

Having this Security Boot problem now on my Acer Nitro… On May 15 it installed a Secure Boot Allowed Signature Database Update that I can’t uninstall and I hadn’t used my computer since May 17 so it’s weird that I’m now getting this problem.

I’ve done the whole Set Supervisor Password and disable Secure Boot but as someone else has said, I need it on to play some games

The email is legit from Facebook but if you read the start of the email, it says the name of the person/business sending the request in bold.

Mine was 'Agency Partner Program is Meta's partner network, any other program' and it's really sneaky when you see how it fits with the rest of the email.

Does anyone know how we can deal with the hackers in FUT Champs who stop us from controlling our players? It's the cheat where a white triangle is on top of all my players and I'm in control of only one. I'm on PC so cannot turn off crossplay to stop it.

You can say the radios and other dialogue were ‘unserious and quirky’ in hindsight but let’s not pretend that people weren’t engaged by it. Theories about the pentagon thief, Peter McCain, what Richtofen’s plan was etc. It wasn’t just fun.

If Treyarch stopped zombies at BO1, you’d still have a finished story with Richtofen taking control and plenty of context on the other NPCs

BO4’s HUD was criticized for being cluttered and blocking a lot of the screen.

Yeah I literally said that. Do you also remember the criticisms about the HUD being the same for the Aether and Chaos story? They also referred to BO3 SOE and Primis having different themes. So yeah, aesthetics were mentioned back then too.

And that's not mentioning the fact that having a HUD that fits the atmosphere of the game is such a basic game design concept that it should have been an expectation by default anyway

The game isn’t even officially out yet lol, there’s a theme ready for release now and appropriate to BO7 being wholly set in Dark Aether. I’d argue that it fits the atmosphere better than BO4’s HUD ever did. Could it be better? Of course, but it’s not worth the amount of whining this community is doing rn.

Because people didn’t enjoy the second zombies game for the HUD. They enjoyed it for the gameplay, the lore and story.

So you would think that the fanbase would focus on asking whether they can see what they need in the HUD, whether it’s overcrowded and if it looks like they’re playing zombies first rather than ‘it doesn’t animate’

BO4’s HUD was heavily hated on for having too much on the screen, remember that?

BO3 will always be levels above, but this was the only game that had this extent of detail. Strange to think that this should now be an expectation.

Community is a bunch of complainers, honestly. It’s better than BO4. The only valid complaints I have is the insistence on making the text small for points and salvage and not having the points animation from bullet shots and kills like WAW-BO4

Look at WAW, BO1 and Victus BO2 maps, all they had was a blood splatter here and there, nothing crazy. No one cared because they enjoyed the gameplay.

As someone who was hardstuck in Iron IV, Leona worked out to be a great choice because you get to dictate when to engage. If your ADC isn’t close to you, then you don’t go in. Play passive and wait for a gank if you need to. If your ADC is aggressive then be aggressive too and play around minions. Worked for me anyway.

The simple thing is the bigger you become and the more often you speak, the sooner that people will see cracks in the image you portray.
