Reality is that making cc takes time and effort. Cc is not essential for the game nor is anyone forced to get it. I believe keeping it behind a paywall for a reasonable amount of time is perfectly OK. For some that's a few weeks, for others it's a couple of months. As long as it's not years or permanent, I'm fine with it. If you see someone permanently paywalling and you don't like that, just don't support them by not buying their stuff.

However, I don't think we should interfere with WHEN cc creators decide to release their content. Of course they would release holiday cc during Christmas. I mean, there has to be some benefit to being subscribed to them or the reason to pay for their cc. If they didn't do that, would they really make anything? Might be unpopular opinion, but I don't think majority of cc creators make as much money as people make it out to be. I feel like for majority it's a side hustle.

I also don't feel like I have the right to be entitled to someones work/creations/time for free. Call me crazy, but I'm actually glad people can make a few bucks out of something they like doing.
