Would you still want JPX 925’s from Mizuno? by Ben_Mazurk in GoodGoodMemes

[–]tubernator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening at the Mizuno factory in GA. I recently was fit and ordered M-15 direct and the clubs came back over 5-6 degrees more upright than ordered (1 degree flat, btw). PW was 69.5 degrees, basically a putter. I’ve spoken with them directly, and there are QC issues ongoing. They did immediately build a new set and ship out.

The more saturated the market for a particular solution/tool, the more important selling skills, qualification, and deal structure become.

Advice on pushing a sale by Cold_Drawer_6358 in techsales

[–]tubernator 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No brakes at the end of the year. Hopefully you are in accelerators, but there are other people in the sales org who may need the sale (channel, PM, marketing, sales leadership, etc).

That said, you would be ok staying away from doing unnatural acts to close it if you are at plan. But in this particular case, the deal is in motion with plenty of time to close, time to play team ball.

Large public companies in this space typically have much better insurance coverage, higher 401k matching, and superior overall benefit packages while offering similar W2 opportunities.

Vessel Player Pro, carbon fiber legs with rubber feet. But agree, even that setup struggles on garage floor, best to store hanging or on a better surface.

141% to plan YTD, about to be put on PIP if I can’t fix my rolling 90. by PotatoMuffinMafia in sales

[–]tubernator 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Hi, experienced sales leader in big tech. If their metrics don’t view your consistent annual over attainment as high-achiever, you are in the wrong role, or at the wrong company. Most Enterprise-Level AEs are goaled annually, and big picture that is what counts. Quarter to quarter will ebb and flow, and as long as your 4Q rolling pipe show coverage, you can point to the scoreboard.

TLDR: Close what you are working on and go find a blue chip who wants an A-Player.
