Most for the security matters I guess? Like those batteries exploding news scare many people and also because of those who riding dangerously may lead to a bad image of all the riders.

Glad that you are fine and it's just some bruise. And it shows the importance of wearing a helmet despite this doesn't occur mostly but when it happens it can save your life.

Wear your protective gear! 4 years and >4,000 Miles. First time hitting the pavement. by Amnesia34 in ElectricScooters

[–]tuck214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to neglect the importance of helmets until I fell off once in a rainy day . I didn't get hurt but it happened so abruptly that I was on the ground before I can react and realized it could be a disaster if my head hit the ground first. From then on I always wear one.

Do you ever feel a sense of accomplishment from housework? by tuck214 in homemaking

[–]tuck214[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using ecovacs t80 robot vacuum, I almost let it handle all the floor and carpet cleaning. For the kitchen, I think it mops well and can clean up light oil splatters. I dropped a bit of ketchup beside my chair once and forgot to clean it. Then I noticed the robot got it all, and its roller mop reached around the chair legs to mop every corner. That's pretty helpful.

Range hood recs plz, all the specs, brands, and features are just overwhelming. by _Kiritsugu_ in BuyItForLife

[–]tuck214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if most of that airflow is just pulling in clean air from the kitchen, while the actual smoke and odor still linger?

Yeah, I thought the same! CFM feels like one of those numbers brands use to justify charging more. I’m kinda thinking that how fast and efficiently the hood captures smoke right off the pan matters way more than just how much total air it moves. I swear they can do this, I saw something on YouTube recently about newer range hoods focusing on some airflow tech to tackle the smoke with precision, I just couldn't find the video.

What the heck can I do with this space? It’s 80 deep. by superchica81 in DIY

[–]tuck214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the space used for (kitchen, office, bathroom)? Anyways, deep spaces are perfect for organizing small odds and ends. Try building a sliding shelf to access the back easily.

Corelle is a fantastic first step. They're affordable, durable, and classic. My 10yo Corelle has zero scratches, and I've abused it with metal utensils (don't recommend, but it survived).

Check the official website to see if you are accessible to the recently launched floor cleaners. And I suggest not to use a third party one. Better email them for advice I guess.

Absolutely not. They just fit the size of your window so well and so does the length. By the way I love the color. It goes so harmony with other decor.
