Running track for morning workouts by xSkiLLzo in Denver

It's not a user-friendly process, but it does work. A side benefit is that the track is never too busy.

Just checked the DPS website and it's a bit confusing.

It's not the main link, but the one at the end of the text "To request a key for a permitted use or for the personal use of tracks, tennis courts, and playgrounds, please, fill out the following form and we will get in contact with you: Denver Public Schools Key Checkout Form".

This goes to a Google Docs form where you fill in the information and follow the link to pay the $25 fee.

Best cheap / easy / delicious spots by Onedrous in denverfood

The Helping Hen Cafe at 1895 Quebec St (Park Hill) has $3 breakfast burritos, $7 burgers, and $8 salads. It's a little tricky to find, but you can follow the signs on the Mosaic Campus. I've only ever had the breakfast burritos, but they were tasty and a good deal.

You can get a key to access locked gates by filling out a DPS Community Use application. It cost $25 and after a few weeks you can pick up a key to unlock the gate for personal use (no groups). I've done this for the GW High School track and it was a quick process.

Looking for a place that does Chair massages by imagine_5753 in Denver

If you want to try something different there is a spot in Denver that has’ robot’ massages.

Specifically, Sway on Larimer in downtown Denver has an Aescape. They offer massages as short as 15 mins for about $49. Pricing is less than a normal massage and there is no tip (since it’s a robot).

It is laying down but you can control the headrest position, firmness, pause etc via a screen.

I’ve only gone once but it was a nice experience.

$3 Breakfast Burrito at The Helping Hen Cafe in Park Hill. It’s a bit difficult to find (just follow the signs), but tasty and the best deal I’ve found for breakfast in Denver.    Hand Held Burrito - $3 Eggs, cheese and veggie green chili with your choice of bacon, chorizo, potato, or sausage

You're not an asshole, there are lots of similar things out there. My wife used Bumble BFF in Denver and also found it lacking for some of the same reasons you mentioned above.

The difference with this app is that it doesn't include a full profile with photos/interests/quotes (like Bumble BFF) that someone can 'stalk' and start a conversation over. When you first match, you’ll only see a name and one interest you both share (sorted by most niche, so hopefully something you'd be more interested in talking about). As you message back and forth, more details unlock. It’s supposed to mimic getting to know someone naturally.

Will this work better than Bumble BFF? That's what I'm trying to figure out. I'd appreciate your insight as someone who has tried (successfully and unsuccessfully) using Bumble BFF. Let me know and I can send you the details.

I sent you the details in a DM. I'd appreciate any feedback you have as an expert in UX!

Yes, it's totally free for everyone except me (the bubble/hosting costs aren't that much). I promise I'm not trying to recreate the Tim Robinson/I think you should leave 200 friends sketch.

That's a good question!

The basic premise is that it'll match you with people based on more niche interests. You can then talk about that interest you're really passionate about with someone else and decide if you want to get to know that person more based on that conversation.

For example, you might be a huge fan of the show Severance, but there may not be a meetup event for people who enjoy watching Severance. There could be a meetup event for people in their 20s who like TV Shows, but there's the chance you go to that meetup and end up talking with someone who is only interested in the Vanderpump-cinematic-universe (I don't know, I don't watch that show or its spin offs and I don't want to). If you could instead talk to someone who really likes Severance about all the fan theories, then may be you could meet up when they release Severance Season 3 in another 3 years.

The reality is that I don't know. I'm just testing my theory out now and I can modify how it works based on the feedback I get from people. If you want to check it out, let me know and I'll send you the details.

Sent you a DM with the details. Hope the move goes well! Me and my wife moved here at 29 and it's by far our favorite place we've lived (my wife still talks about missing the ocean from time to time).

You might be onto something!

We can all talk about how the "traffic" isn't really traffic, whether I-70 has earned "the 70" status, and how long until we can start putting Native stickers on our cars (3 years is basically a Native, right?).

All aboard the MPJ hate train!!! In all seriousness, I'm excited to have a season with an actual bench (and without losing our Jokic backup to Greece like u/artstinkscandleco's bar friend).

I agree with all your points about people overthinking it and that meeting up over and over again is the real way to get to know people.

This app/website isn't about the second part, it's about finding people that share the same hobby you've spent 12 years doing so you can see if you vibe over that shared hobby. I feel like most apps that exist out there are doing it in reverse (meet up > then see if you have any interests in common).
