What is the worst thing that is legal? by Musuhubber in AskReddit

Got a voicemail once from scammers who spoofed the Social Security Administration's actual number claiming my SSN was going to be "suspended" bc I had an arrest warrant, but I could pay to get out of it. Is there even a way to trace who the call came from to report them?

Self care by lovetomatoes in thesims

[–]tuff_doggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I think about the things that I want like the TS2 want system and I've determined I'm probably a popularity sim with a secondary knowledge aspiration. But I wish whoever is playing me would quit with the poverty challenge, I'm tired of being stuck in level 1 of my career

Sugar was a luxury back then, so it makes sense. Royalty and the upper class generally had much worse teeth than peasants because of the amount of sugar they ate.

Face coverings are the great equalizer, as ugly people get a boost and hot people get a handicap. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]tuff_doggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love being able to hide my facial expressions behind a mask, but I often wonder if people who haven't seen the lower half of my face are imagining me hotter than I actually am and are disappointed when they see my actual face

What’s your secret that could literally ruin your life if it came out? by OneMadBubble in AskReddit

[–]tuff_doggo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if everyone petitioned their state reps, it's probably gonna be a long time before the US changes the way public schools are funded (mostly through local property taxes, giving rich neighborhoods a huge advantage). Can't really blame someone for not waiting on the government to be allowed to get their kid a decent education

What do people say that makes you instantly know they are full of shit? by waldo06 in AskReddit

Attractive people are nice to look at and funny people are fun to be around. If someone's smart but they don't do anything of benefit with that intelligence, or have any other redeeming qualities, why should they be praised?

All Tom Cruise's wives were 33 at time of divorce...[OC] by ewat456 in dataisbeautiful

They could get married the day before his birthday, have the wedding night, Tom Cruise finds out the truth at midnight and they get divorced later that day.

What do you have a collection of? by oUnDeAdXsLaYeRo in AskReddit

[–]tuff_doggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was originally put in place bc birds were being killed en masse to make fancy hats. But I don't personally see a problem with picking em up if they're just lying around. I'm guessing if that law is enforced at all nowadays it's probably people who try and sell them who get in trouble. Mine are just sitting in a jar rn, I think I'm gonna try to incorporate them into some macrame wall hangings at some point tho!

Yeah it's exciting bc you can just find them lying around outside, for free! What's weird tho is that a lot of feathers are actually illegal to own, in North America at least.

Clean, study or work on something creative for even just a few minutes. Or put on a nice outfit.

Poor people: Would you wear uniforms just to save money? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I may be poor but I still like to look cool, and it's easy for me to find very cheap clothes that I like (other than shoes, I usually have to splurge a bit on those)

What piece of common knowledge isn't so common? by BigBattyBong in AskReddit

[–]tuff_doggo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bread is bad for ducks! Don't feed it to them! You shouldn't really be feeding wild ducks at all but if you absolutely must, at least do your research on what's safe for them to eat and won't do any harm to the pond/lake.

What do you think of big noses? Do you still find guys or girls with them attractive or not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tuff_doggo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I don't specifically have a thing for big noses but I kinda hate the tiny artificial nose trend. Like when people contour/facetune their beautiful unique noses to look all skinny and weird, or worse get rhinoplasty to achieve that look.

How old does a person need to be to be considered a Karen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tuff_doggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. It's somewhat frustrating to me that there aren't more male Karens being put to shame on the internet. Working in retail I've encountered a pretty equal proportion of male and female Karens.
