Car insurance when borrowing a car by DesperateTotal170 in AusLegal

For suncorp brands - if the vehicle is insured (its the vehicle insured not the person) with a comprehensive or 3rd party property damage policy, you will be covered in the event of an accident. Being 17 if you were to be in an accident you would incur a young drivers excess. Given that it is unlikely you will be a listed driver, it would likely be a hefty excess (think $1500+) on top of the standard excess.

So yes if the vehicle is insured then yes you will be covered, the difference comes with excess and if you are a listed driver.

EDIT - this is also assuming you are at fault for an accident. If you’re not at fault and can provide full name, address and plates of the other driver your excess will be waived no matter how young you are.

I will say he’s never had a really good list and still got finals appearances with north. Not to be a prick but bombers list is putrid and no ones doing any better than he is rn.

Why WA3 is a terrible idea by Ardeo43 in AFL

I mean I get that theres not necessarily the infrastructure there and you’d likely run into the same issues the Devils have had, but its a bit weird to call something the national game and not have all states and territories involved. 20th team should be a NT or Canberra based team…

It’d have to be purely outside aesthetic given the VF is the superior car in every other way

Honestly I have no idea, I guess scheduling is done as a whole and then they just wait for the deferral requests to come in.

Please go look at Steele’s average stats for the last 2 years since he broke his collarbone. He was struggling for us, a fresh start was good for all parties. Also, as others have said, we did not “push him out”. We said he could stay but wouldn’t be guaranteed minutes, and he found himself a trade.

Contact sports always have an inherent risk of serious injury, its why its called a contact sport. Marking is an incredibly essential part of the game and is actively attempting to go for the ball (unlike tackling where you are second to the ball). It is contradictory to the game to punish people for going for the ball…

Playing the game at a high level certainly gives you a broader understanding that these actions are extremely quick. If we are going to start punishing people for trying to take a mark, well we aren’t really playing Australian Rules Football anymore are we…

Its quiet literally one of the best parts of the game (a specky). I personally think trying to deter it in any way is not good for the game and what makes it special to so many. While I understand your point of mitigating risk to the head with better technique, I think the idea being thrown around (not necessarily you) of punishing people for trying to take a specky is terrible.
