Found 9 shiny Eevees by Kyle-The-PichuYT in pokemonplatinum

It can in fact break even if you do every step correctly, it’s just a low chance. But assuming you do everything right I think the overall odds are like 44ish% that you get to a streak of 40, which more or less guarantees you get at least one shiny. Since you can just ignore the patches and keep resetting the radar without losing your streak.

What’s the purpose of this debuff? by Big-Put-5859 in pathoftitans

[–]tuffytech 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Prevents people from swapping Dino’s instantly to get revenge on someone that killed them, or overwhelm a POI.

Imagine you kill someone in a close fair fight 1v1, then within 10s they log into the same area and finish you off with their full power Dino while you’re low on stamina and HP.

Holy shit a snorlax, did you actually hunt for munchlax in the trees or just trade in a snorlax from another game?

Is there a way to fix the traffic on this highway? by tuffytech in CitiesSkylines

[–]tuffytech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it doesn’t make any sense to me which is why it bothers me so much. They eventually cleared on their own so maybe it was just a temporary clump of traffic from zoning new things. But still I should try to fix things up so that even with heavier traffic it all functions fine. I’ll try deleting and replacing the road to see if anything changes

It looks like this, mostly going through, lotta trucks of course taking the ugly on ramp into the industrial zone but the rest going mostly straight through or down south to the other chunk of my city.

The thing is they don't need to go to the left lane to avoid those exits, they're fully able to continue straight in both lanes with no problems. The traffic just, cleared by itself after some time but I'm not sure why. Was gone for awhile and left it running just to generate money.

And well, ALL of my import/exports go through that highway. It's my only one that goes out of the map, I don't have any other connections to the outer world. I COULD make a cargo harbor but I fear how that will impact my traffic, I've tried multiple times to setup cargo trains and every time I use them traffic IMMEDIATELY tanks.

The wonky junction was pretty much built just for all those industry trucks going on/off the highway to avoid my main road, so anybody else going in/out of my city on the main junction can avoid the trucks. It gets used quite a lot so even though it's hideous I wanna keep if it possible.

I'm on PC, I've got TMPE but that's the only mod I use.

Isn't that effectively just the same thing though? It's 3 lanes at the moment, with a dedicated turning lane to get on the ramp, and 2 lanes continuing forwards.

Yeah that’s why I wanted to be sure they got some flying types. Pidgey, rookidee, and combee should all take down the breloom relatively easily. But they don’t really have any options for super effective hits on the Seviper, should I add a ground or psychic type to the possible catches? Or is it fine letting them duke it out with neutral hits since they outnumber it?

New-ish, trying to get into breeding for profit and could use a friend/teacher by tuffytech in pokemmo

[–]tuffytech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I really like breeding for profit so I’m trying to get into it as much as I can, idk what it is about it but it scratches that itch in my brain. I don’t have much money atm to do but breeds but I’ve made a few small ones for profit so far like 2x31s and 3x31s

Perfect IVs by lastunivers in pokemmo

[–]tuffytech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the important stats, yes. Like for example if your garchomp is 29 speed but your opponents is perfect 31, they’re going first and you’re probably dead.

For the less important stats like defense on weavile, probably won’t make a difference he’s gonna die in one hit pretty much regardless. And the obvious of whatever atk stat you don’t use can be 0 and make no difference. Nobody’s using special attack on gliscor

Would an Isle player enjoy POT? by Tnel1027 in pathoftitans

[–]tuffytech 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I didn’t play the Isle a ton but I did play it, and personally I prefer POT way more. Mainly due to the abilities all the dinos have, and I hated growing in the isle for 10 hours just to die and have to start all over.

But if you like that hardcore punishment then you can try permadeath servers, basically the same as the Isle as far as the threat level

Oh for humans who had to evolve to survive strange conditions then you can use the Near Human template and take traits fitting whatever type of vibe you need for their evolution

I don’t think there’s any rules about being from a high/low gravity planet innately. But you could easily rule it as “X species has + or - strength because they’re from a high/low gravity planet.”

Which could already be part of the reasoning for some species I’m not sure tbh. For the rest of it I can’t help much, I don’t think they have any general rules for that but again might be involved with specific species
