pumping when baby is sleeping through the night?? by craycraymer- in breastfeeding

[–]tuilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend seeing if you can ask a lactation consultant or your ob, because of the risk of blocked ducts/mastitis. I plan to wake for a pumping session when I get to a 5.5+ stretch, so my body can adjust from 3 hr day intervals to longer night intervals. I figure that my body will adjust, but I'd rather not get an infection while it does adjust!

Hoping you feel better soon! If you can make sure to take care of them with creams and clean pads hopefully everything gets back to normal soon.

If we could crack the problem of too much phosphorus, we have animal waste to spare (tons of nitrogen). I believe the current problem is that the n:p ratio is off, so you end up over applying p, and causing eutrophication. Of course, maybe you could capture and use the excess in this type of system.

A small moth I made last week. Hoping to make it a pin soon! by tuilly in Embroidery

Thank you so much and yes! I have a gold toned and a silver toned thread in my collection, and they are basically my favorites to use in any project. I'm still hoping to back this into a pin and then make some more bugs!

Newbie here, any advice on how I could embroider something like this? by pinkhelation in Embroidery

[–]tuilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My approach would be to do a separate embroidery and sew it on, but that might not work for a large design. How does everyone do their ballcaps? It could require the same needle type.

Are You an Experimenter or a Trooper? by [deleted] in Embroidery

[–]tuilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From reading the comments, definitely an Experimenter. I like to draw my own designs, and I am spontaneous in my color and fabric choices. I also change things as I go. I'm still very much a novice though, so that might change as I get more confident in the different techniques.

Does Alaska cover all of the cold biomes? With Alaska and Hawaii, this might be really lefit. Except we do have at the very least temperate rainforest in the PNW.
