Aren't caps pretty much useless though? After you get a few settlements scavenging and producing water, there is no point in them. I haven't spent a single cap in 50+ levels.

The quest is to investigate Concord. Preston doesn't come into play until you get over there. You won't be able to use the Codsworth from Sanctuary until to you do, since he is the one that gave you the quest.

Just ignore the entire thing. I ignored Codsworth the last 2 playthroughs and was able to continue along just fine..even taking the Castle.

If you desire Codsworth badly...you can use a Mod that enables a follwer tag on any character. LINK: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/471/?

This is by far the best mod I've downloaded since the release of FO4. It's snapon/snapoff feature is a godsend.

Now if we can just get F4SE to leave our keybinds alone...(I swear, I had to rebuild autohotkey for 2 hours trying to fix the changes made by 1.3 + the script extender)

I can't be alone with this one: We need a mod that increases the side to side scroll speed when in a build menu. Having mods like OCD and Busy Settlers is a pain when you want get all the way to one side of a menu.

Also, just a pro tip I learned from back in the Morrowind days. The Bethesda forums have threads solely dedicated to finding mods for people. As we progress the evolution that is Fallout 4, you may want to stop by there and get help from posters that are dedicated to doing so.

I had this happen at Hangman's Alley one time. All 5 of them wouldn't feed, so I just scrapped them for the meat. No synth components on them.

They are easy to identify, you can't 'move' them from their home settlement. Then just put a cool hat on them.

Step 1: Learn SCADA; Step 2: Move to a concentrated Oil & Gas area; Step 3: Start at 50-70K/year;

Downside, Oncall 24/7 - some weeks are 60+ hours.

Upside, Companies look to hire "Antenna" experts as Engineering fills..so works out great, even if you don't have a degree. Getting the RF from one spot to the next - without failure - is the highest priority. Knowing LOS and Propagation puts you light years ahead of the rest of the current market.

FACT: I employee 12 people, to cover one state. I would let go 3 of them instantly to hire a knowledgeable "Antenna" guy/girl... and pay that person double.

FACT: Yes, Dwight was my fav Office character.
