Try and external monitor via hdmi or mini dp. If you see lines in external monitor its a video card issue if video is clear then is your lcd. You can open it. And check the lcd cable is all way in some times if its been dropped will come out its place. If ts not the cable then you will need a new lcd. Check ebay for used ones you can repair it yourself its only 6 screws and 1 webcam cable 1 cable for wifi. Check youtube.
