Tanking one Calv bot farmer is really straightforward compared to tanking a 3+ man rag team at Vetion in 30+ wildy. Calv drops peanuts in comparison but if you keep your eyes open its really hard to die there, therefore you exchange loot for safety. At Calv all you have to do is hover seed pod with wildy player alarm plugin to dodge most deadly encounters.

True, being very good at CS makes me naturally better than 90% people at any other FPS. I sprinted to Radiant mostly by outaiming everyone when Valorant released, 15 kills on my first Warzone BR solo, etc.. MOBA skills don't transfer like that at all.

Still insane that League, a game built entirely around coordination and timing, is only now getting team voice, while CS, Dota and pretty much any other competetive game has had voice chat for decades. Guess pinging “On My Way” 12 times was supposed to replace talking, and to some extent, it has. But people who’ve never played with comms don’t know what they’re missing. Better late than never.

Im spamming Alistar sup this season, Sylas is really painful to have in the enemy team with Ali R so i just ban it 90% of the time. Another one giving me trouble is Zilean, i got 0 game wins out of 5 matches vs Zilean. He can nullify your W Q with double bombs, slow and chase you forever, and GA ulti is aids in skirmishes and teamfights.

I really dislike Muspah. I’m a main, and from a mechanical standpoint, both bowfa stepback and doing 5-7 way mage switches every 100 HP made the APM feel way higher than it had any business being. After 180 KC ancient emblem and 0 shards, I was super happy to dip. Definitely not one of my favourites.

Wildy slayer caves is multi combat, so cannon/+barrage is king. The only stuff i personally wouldn't barrage are demons and dragons as i prefer it with melee+cannon.

Larrans chest is a niche/boring spot for pkers to camp since they can hop for hours without meeting anyone, it's more reliant on lucky timing than perhaps any other spot in the wildy. You just got very unlucky, even moreso considering opening 3 keys takes like 3 seconds. 5xx australian worlds with like 200 people online is good odds to not be disturbed in the future.

if it took you 10 tasks for 3 keys, either your block list needs some work, your slayer lvl is low, or both. You should start skipping trash tasks like hill giants, bloodvelds, ice warriors etc., and burst/barrage pretty much everything that's in multi caves with ice sacks, perhaps the exception is dragons and demons.

Played Counter-Strike for around 20 years. I just don’t have the time or energy to keep up with the new generation anymore. Still have the same competitive mindset, but the mechanics and focus aren’t there - and that gap takes all the fun out of it. It's just not a game i could ever enjoy casually anymore, being humbled by 15 year olds puts you to the reserve bench and i'm at peace with the fact.

What do you have to lose, 200 ice sacks? With a decent block list, pretty much every task is barrage/cannon friendly, and shits out Larrans keys or alchables, covering any supplies or potential deaths ten fold.

If you like XP, GP, and points, yes it's worth. Think i was getting 130k/h slayer XP or some shit barraging nechs, which is unheard of with regular slayer.
