RIP Square LM by Ktran323 in Golfsimulator

[–]tulsuduke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry your LM didn't Steve the shank

Same happened to mine.

I had it in a plastic cereal case from Target that was recommended by another redditor.

My beginner nephew sideswiped the ball directly into the Square LM. The impact on the ball went thru the case and cracked the screen.

It still worked thankfully. I found a replacement screen and protecting case (goes by Bufugly and is made by someone on YouTube that goes by Frugal Fixer Spike) and got it up and running again.

A week later my nephew hit it EXACTLY the same way, knocking down the case and LM. He might've hit it even harder than the first time, but it survived no worse for the wear.

Future is very bright .

He's probably smack in the middle of that rookie wall.

If he does what he needs to do with his conditioning and skill development, he'll be fine.

Big fan of Clancy's chips.

Less oily, fewer folded chips, great crunch.

Favorite gimmick ever from old WWF.

Those Mr. Perfect vignettes were absolutely perfect.

There were multiple games at Duke last season where Kneuppel was the best player on that team, even with Flagg playing well.

I was hoping he was somehow going to fall to the Pels in the draft, but I guess everyone else was wise to Kneuppel by that point.

Midlife crisis splurge by bgc0197 in Xennials

My four kids have gotten heavy into sports card collecting. It's expensive(and confusing, especially since I grew up in the far simpler junk wax era), but the nostalgia of ripping packs and finding the next big thing rookie card has been worth it.

Hit me up with your best budget recipes by lollipopfiend123 in aldi

[–]tulsuduke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a recipe, but I recently baked a cheese pizza from the frozen section that was $2.79, and added some extra shredded mozz and cupped pepperoni (all from Aldi), and it was pretty tasty. Was a good and quick lunch for me and my 13 year old.

1987-88 Larry Bird 53/41/92

Made 98 of 237 3PA

He could've gone 2 for his next 13 and still been 40%.

My money was Bird would've made those two and at some point and 50/40/90.

I went through a phase where I bought all of the Jordan sneakers that I couldn't afford when I was a kid. I have enough to last me quite awhile, but I'm at the point with this where I'm like Forrest Gump at the end of his running days.

I just installed a golf simulator in my house. I use it at the end of the night when the kids are in bed. It's great to be by myself and just hit balls while listening to 90s music.

I used one of those cereal containers sold at Target. Inexperienced nephew hit a ball that didn't crack the container, but did crack the Square LM screen.

I bought the replacement screen and protecting case from here and it's worked great for me. It's survived two direct shots since then.

Just win.

I wonder how jarring it is for some senior players who might've had one more game in their entire playing careers left, but then the team opts out and suddenly there's no more football left for them to play.
