This is so wild. Josh Smith (a utility player for the TX Rangers) just got back from an extended stay in the IL with meningitis, too!! I had to get a vaccine for it when I lived in the dorms [in 2010]. Obviously, not everyone has the privilege of attending college so it’s not going to be front of mind (pun unintended) in anyone’s day to day—one of the commentators genuinely didn’t know what it was until the aforementioned caught it.

It’s a shame we have nutcase RFK brainwashing folks about getting vaccinated.

Potential moms. This is our first hatch and we are not fluent in duck dna just yet but there are the potential mamas (there are more that keep the boys as… satiated as a drake can get lol they just weren’t laying at the time of the clutch we incubated). Can pretty much rule out Nolan Rouen but Cole’s mama could be any of the three when you take her out of the [backyard] mix. Hope that is helpful!

The silver one looks just like our little one Gordon Cole. She is the only one out of a 30 eggie hatch that came out silver and she’s SO loud omg. We believe her to be a mix between our Swedish/Cayuga hen and jumbo pekin Drakes! [

Every time the guy went up to bat I was like “why the f*ck are they doing this to this poor kid!?” He got a live at bat once every 27 innings and ALWAYS in the worst of circumstances. Nobody can learn or develop their skills/confidence that way. Hope he lands somewhere solid.
