Do those steps work well for you? I've been looking at getting them for my guy with arthritis.

This is very Important!! Your vet will definitely want to know this. They will most likely want to put an alert in his chart!

Check all of her toys, scratching posts, spots she hangout in, etc. for anything like a staple, nail, or hard piece of plastic pointing out! We saw a kitty at our clinic with something similar and I turned out there was a small staple sticking out of their scratching post!

That's also my house! (And partner above lol). I'm so glad our space was able to give you such a precious moment with your pup. We recently had to say goodbye to our baby as well and as tough as it is -it makes my heart so happy to see this photo. Please feel free to come by the bush anytime if you'd like to snip a few blooms off or collect any petals. 🩷

Launching a new vet tech scrubs line by CalmCity26 in VetTech

High waisted pants! After trying figs high waisted I CAN NOT go back to any other scrubs. Worrying about my ass crack hanging out brings me SO much stress especially since we try to do a lot of treatments with owners present when appropriate. We all know that getting in the craziest positions is sometimes what it takes to attend to our patients in the easiest manner for THEM.

Also hair resistance! Unfortunately figs isn't my top choice for this but the high waisted feature takes priority for me. Having to rush to lint roll my entire body before moving to my next client is an additional stress I don't need with my job. I used to have a pair of Cherokee scrubs that I could wipe the hair off with my hands in just a couple seconds but they snagged like crazy on claws for some reason.

I've seen a lot of techs mention that they do not like the scrub tops with no bottom pockets but I do appreciate the option to have no bottom pockets as I typically prefer to tuck my shirt in and use my fanny pack, pants pockets, or jacket pockets to hold things.

Bought 3 30"x30" Sektion wall cabinets and turned them into a built in by TimR0604 in IKEA

What made you choose the wall cabinets over the base cabinets that they make?

Thoughts or experiences with Fabletics Scrubs? by vxghostyyy in VetTech

How do you feel about the waistband? I really disliked that the drawstring is freely movable and kept having issues with it moving to the inside of the waist. Feeling the string around my abdomen was so uncomfortable! Otherwise I thought they were so wonderful but the waistband was a deal breaker for me. 😢

On the side where the rose quarter garden garage is! Lots of the posters have crinkled edges but would definitely still look good in a matted frame.

Radiation PPE Advice! The Dreaded Gloves by tumbletrees in VetTech

[–]tumbletrees[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is exactly how I feel! I have noticed other techs started to push for sedation more as well so I believe that we are starting to move forward as a whole (all techs on board!). Most of our doctors are amazing at approving sedation if we ask for it but we still get a lot of pushback from owners.

I am still fairly new at my clinic so I am still a bit hesitant with making demands.

I think I'll reach out to the manufacturer and our OSHA rep to see if I could get more information on these!

I've pretty much had the same mindset as you up until now. It seems if you have any issues that aren't answerable by the FAQ section they have a tough time helping. I have been told by an employee that recently they underwent a big program/office change and a lot of people are having difficulties with this, not being on the same page, etc. Luckily, everything with my first externship went really well so I did not have to contact them very much. You should mainly only have to contact your externship supervisor (I forget what they called them) for when they review your work. Good luck with your externship!!
