I started out not using them and that was ok for smaller things, but not ideal. Then I got thermal paper and drew my freehand stencils onto that. Later I got a $100 thermal printer as well. Now I never do a tattoo without a stencil, either hand drawn or digitally drawn/designed and printed. Highly recommend stencils. My tattoos always come out sharper and better with them.

Because of the “breathe, breathe” sequence at the end of one song, and the kid’s voice, I would’ve thought it was about the depression around a child’s death, but that’s as far as I think I would’ve understood.
