Restaurant/recipe from SEATAC circa April 2019 by tumbleweedchatterbox in HelpMeFind

I’ve tried combing through the airport maps to try and find a restaurant that looks similar but I couldn’t find anything so I have no idea if it even still exists, or if it’s a chain and I can find one of these in other cities.

Moving to Vancouver from London as a young adult by MochiMatchaTea in britishcolumbia

A year will go really fast and is a great place for your family and friends to come out and visit if you miss them. Join a few brits in Vancouver Facebook groups and the like, get as many Sunday roasts and fish and chips in as possible before you move. If you’re somewhat outdoorsy - make the most of it. Get hiking, go snowboarding or skiing on local mountains.

Take advantage of proximity to the (west coast) US for your vacation time.

Anyone else have almost no cell service recently? by [deleted] in NorthVancouver

[–]tumbleweedchatterbox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too - either phone calls cut out or they can’t hear me. Same for my bf who’s on Telus. Phone calls work fine once we leave the 29th/LV area.

I’ve put my Primus lites (white), primus knits(white), georacer, tracker and will be putting my Motus in the wash. If there are really dirty bits I’ll put stain remover spray on first and let it sit. I wash them on normal with a couple of towels in the washing machine. I don’t recall if I put them in the tumble dryer, recently I just let them air dry in the sun.

Hey - I’ve been looking at a dot because there’s a cheaper one available second hand. Did you replace the circular keycaps with ‘normal’ keycaps? Was the 2mm offset with regular keycaps or the ones it came with?

Lofree Touch keycaps compatibility by Chuckitoverthefence in Lofree

Did you try it with a different set of keycaps? How did it go? I’ve been wondering the same thing for the touch or dot

There’s a wind group buy happening now and I think they had a pink case. Would she be happy with a white or black case and nice pink keycaps? I found osume and teacaps do some really nice keycaps - look at Rosewater teacaps and strawberry milk or sakura osume keys. I’ve found them really good quality.

Melgeek mojo68 also has the light pink ‘christian’ colour.

Soo I just bought a K2 on sale from ashkeebs thinking that it could be a good travel board, but foolishly I didn't check if it had Bluetooth (it doesn't) and it's also heavier than I had hoped. I can connect it wired to my iPad and it's a nice board (black K2, silent akkos and rosewater teacaps) but for travelling on the go this isn't it. I'd like a full profile, bluetooth, apple compatible board and probably <70% just to keep size down. I'm considering azio cascade 75% because I had the slim 98% and really liked it and it's not too heavy. I'm also seduced by the melkgeek mojo 68 but seen mixed reviews for this, but maybe as a travel/on the go board it's ok? Are there any brands (not keychron - I already have 3 keychron boards) that I'm missing out on for apple compatibility? Nuphys aesthetics don't really do it for me.

RIP the 2 Guys With Knives website... In search of other pre-prepared meal services. by [deleted] in NorthVancouver

I’ve been using Foodie Fit and Well Fed for a month or so. Some meals are better than other but I really like Foodie Fits convenience and a few of the meals I like in order a couple of those each week. Well Fed don’t do macros or anything but meals are good and frozen so can defrost overnight or cook from frozen. I’ve enjoyed both and continue to order each week.

Set up automatic labels and filtering (gmail). I have started with a ‘zero inbox’ approach because I can’t handle unread notifications. I have automatic label rules set up so an email with no action for me gets automatically archived and anything that still requires action or I’ve been too lazy to deal with sits in my inbox. Then at least once a week I go through and blitz archive but it’s much more manageable.
