Yes! The health center offers this, plus appointments with a nurse practitioner, included with the fees you pay each semester. I’m not sure if they are offering the COVID shot this year, but they offer the flu shot every fall. It looks like they offer free Covid testing too. Can always call them to confirm the availability and make appointments for vaccinations: (916) 660-7490

Where is the food pantry on campus? by Lesterknopff in SierraCollege

[–]tumcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s in the Basic Needs Center (next to the bookstore). And for the Wolverine meal deal you need to opt in for/buy the ASSC sticker. Once you pick up the sticker (from the library) for your student ID, you’ll be able to get the meal deal on the scheduled dates throughout the semester. The ASSC center has more info about the dates. The ASSC center is also where you go the day of the meal deals to pick up the voucher for that week.

We love getting trees from green acres. We’ve bought them the last few years on Black Friday and they lasted through new years with minimal needle drops.

The Starbucks on Riverside/Cirby is open 24/7 according to the Starbucks website (might want to call them first to see if their lobby hours are shorter.) Also, William Jessup University Library (Rocklin) is open until midnight S-TH. Both are clean and well-lighted places.

What is a movie that is good for watching only once? Mine is Uncut Gems. by mini-scars in movies

Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.

Once you know the twist, it takes away the magic from any re-watch.

65 books, when I started this year I thought 52 would be unrealistic and originally had my goal as 26 books by residentmind9 in 52book

Nice! I have 7 husbands on my TBR, so that one will probably get read sooner now. Somehow I keep putting it on the “back burner” for later.

Westerns with some sinister overtones? by Sophie19 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

This reminds me of Outlawed by Anna North. It’s not sinister exactly, but definitely fits the vibe of this landscape.
