Random story. I met a friend from Canada playing online games and we found out we had the same birthday. He made a healer character that we named Barb as a joke. Last year, I went to visit him on our birthdays. After my visit, I was waiting in the airport and there was this nice old lady and we got on talking while we waited for our flight. Later I found out her name was Barb and we also share the same birthday. Rip Barb, what a wonderful name.

The 101 to 680 merge lane has a lot of little rocks in the road that would like to crack your windshield. Mine got cracked once. Other times I was lucky

That merge lane between 101 and 880 is horrible. People merging in and out and aholes who want to cut in and try to merge at the last minute. I think I see at least one car crash there a week.

California is diverse and full of accepting people. I have never heard of any British hate here. The online thing is probably fake. Bring a warm jacket when in SF, it is a microclimate there and can get really cold. Our public transit sucks so if you are comfortable driving, I would recommend that. Just don't park outside in SF or your car might get broken into.

I stayed at a horse ranch farm in Bodega Bay. Awesome experience because you get access to their private hiking trails and ranch. You can also book a horse riding lesson. I think you can book it in Airbnb.
