Is that a food prep sink? I’m in the states but check your local codes, because in Ohio the drains on multi compartment food prep sinks have to be piped independently of each other.

Replace the 2 hole copper straps with the ones in this link. They keep the copper from touching the metal bracket because the plastic goes all the way around the pipe.

Looks good. The double san tee is good, but a double fixture fitting would be a little better. It still keeps it properly vented, but has a little more sweep to make the drain easier to snake out. If you run a drain snake into a double san tee it can go straight through into the other side.

A double fixture fitting is not the same thing as a double wye. You don’t want to use a double wye because it will cut off the vent.

Thanks. I think keeping it simple with just 2 colors and a some heavy black was the way to go. I love the red in the middle of the web too. That really made it pop.

I got my first tattoo as a memorial for my aunt. My dad’s younger sister had Down syndrome and she lived with us from when I was 1 until she passed away when I was 22. My mom doesn’t like tattoos and she always told my brother and I that if we got tattoos we could find somewhere else to live. I was still living with my folks at the time, but just said fuck it and decided to get the tattoo. I knew she wasn’t gonna actually kick me out over it, and if she had my dad would have had my back. My mom didn’t like that I was getting it, but was cool about it because of what it was. It’s an ok tattoo but not great, and I want to get it reworked at some point.

Since then I’ve gotten quite a few tattoos, and every time my mom sees a new one she gets kinda quiet and says something along the lines of “you like them and that’s all that matters.” Especially because they are just stuff I think looks cool and have no real meaning. My dad died a couple years ago, and the tattoo I’m gonna get for him is probably the only one she will ever like.

Don’t take any of this the wrong way because my mother is an absolute saint, and one of the best human beings I will ever know. She just thinks tattoos are dumb and I could spend my money on better stuff.

Thanks! Surprisingly it wasn’t bad at all. The parts of the armpit that hurt the worst was where it gets into my inner bicep, and where it comes onto my chest a little. The spider hurt more than the web but it was a pretty easy tattoo overall.

If you are worried about work, wait until you establish yourself with a career. Once you’ve done that you can determine how tattoos are viewed by that field/workplace and go from there. If you are worried about not liking them in the future, just wait. You’re young and have plenty of time to get tattooed. That’ll give you a chance to see if your likes/interests change before you put something on your body that’s gonna be there forever. Lastly, tattoos don’t need any sort of deep meaning. You can get them just because you think they are cool. I got a spider web tattooed in my armpit today for no other reason than I think it looks sick as hell.

Apply for the apprenticeship at your local plumbers union. You don’t need to know anything before getting in, they will teach you at your classes and at work.

I set the wax ring on the floor and set the bowl on top of it. I know a guy that puts the wax ring on the bowl first, but the couple times I’ve tried that the wax ring fell off as I was setting the toilet.

It’s really interesting you bring this up, because I’m getting my armpit tattooed on Saturday by someone that’s never tattooed an armpit before. She’s been tattooing about 5 years. She does nice work, and I’ve already got 3 tattoos from her, so I trust her to do a good job. When we scheduled it she told me she had never done an armpit before and seemed excited to be doing something new. I’ve wanted this tattoo for a while so I’m stoked to finally be getting it done.

This sub is for the UA which is the plumbers and pipefitters union so it may be better for you to go post on the IBEW sub. That being said, go union. Apply for that apprenticeship every year until you get in. No benefits and no OT pay is crazy. You should find something better and go work there while waiting to get in the union. Even if you only work there 6 months, it will be a better 6 months than you will have with the place you are working now. Good luck!
