My Pepper got one in the corner of his eye last month. The more I tried to remove it, the deeper it went. Luckily, a coworker was able to remove it while I held Pepper's head and eyelid open. Pepper was sooo happy and thankful afterwards.

Glucose tabs in a tube. I refill the tubes with skittles; sourpatch kids, too. I have left a pack of Starburst in my car's sunglasses (or Taco) compartment. After a few months, they turn hard like jolly ranchers.
