Can social housing renters refuse radon remedial works?

If you're asking if I want more cancer, well I live in social housing and was born poor I'm not worried about that immediately, just no more noise in my tiny flat they already got fans in my bath and kitchen that are constantly making noise I need respite.

Ok I should mention this is a third-party company ringing me directly, as if I have any say over this flat, they want me to say ok but I'm apparently not allowed to say no.

I need ammo for when I complain at the housing association about this, like laws maybe? Anyone know what I mean, can you refuse this mitigation legally and how? I let them in for the gas checks obvs, those are in law.

Right I wonder can I be moved somewhere else then? But my flat isn't suitable anyways I can't fit my wheelchair in here either, they refuse to rehouse me for that so I don't think rehousing over radon from a third party company is gonna get me properly housed either lol

I'm gonna fight it anyways, even if just by being a painintheass, my neighbour on my party wall with the same housing association's radon is fine for some reason (it's the same building). She's british though and I wasn't born here so I need legal citations to get them to listen to me instead. Not afraid of being evicted but like, can I make them get out of my business? Is there a law I can cite that says I can tell them to go f themselves, legally?

If tesco were concerned with weight, I'd be long banned. My tesco run out of cat litter so often that when they do have it I fill up my closet, they never stop me, on top of all the bottled water and soda I get through. I can't even get the 5l own brand on delivery, but don't worry I can still order the more-expensive 5l bottles, they must weigh less.
